An Exploration of the Unseen World

As we sit here in our individual planet personas it is a bit tricky to understand, let alone feel, that we are, in fact, one very, very large vibrational energy field.  Not a piece of it, but immersed in and incorporated in the whole.  

But the truth is we ARE all one energy and with that comes both the power and the responsibility of wholeness. 

Like you, I am working to not just understand that but to feel it and embrace my place in the Oneness, to be responsible for my presence in the Web of Oneness.  

I’m Cara Lumen, spiritual philosopher and founder of the Deeper Song Community. I am a cosmic explorer who consciously travels into the unseen world to serve as a bridge to help us expand our relationship with the spiritual world. I share what I learn and guide those who are ready to the next level so we can sing a deeper song.

In this episode of Reflections of a Deeper Song we’ are going to explore the concept that  We Are One With the Whole.

From here in our human form, living our restricted human lives it’s a little tricky not to feel separate. In fact, we sometimes rather pride ourselves on feeling uniquely individual. But we are all one energy and to experience ourselves as individual is like trying to separate sunbeams.  We are all one all-encompassing energy. There is no you and me. There is no us and them. We are all one, all-inclusive vibrational energy. We just can’t always experience ourselves that way. 

But when we learn to accept our oneness, to experience ourselves as an important aspect of the greater whole,  our perception of our role and our responsibility changes. 

To be an observer requires being a separate form.  We are not separate from Oneness. We are not  separate from our Collective Wholeness.  So how do we figure out what Oneness is and what are role is in it? 

Give that some thought. 

You cannot step outside of being “One” in order to see “One”.  Because we all are “One!”

How do we, from our seemingly separate vantage points, begin to experience ourselves as the Whole , The All-encompassing One Energy?

As long as we are in our body there is a tendency to experience ourselves as separate. 

We are to learn see ourselves as the energy field that we are, as one all-encompassing vibration. 

The we need to understand that Since we are this all-encompassing wholeness,  then we am constantly experiencing it and expressing it.

As long as we are in our human experience there is a tendency to experience ourselves as separate.

The fact is, here in our body expression we need contrast in order to understand anything.  We need black to understand white.  We need up to understand down. We need contrast. How do we begin to understand and experience everything as One?

I love being an individual. I love seeming myself as unique.  And in our human form we are unique expressions.  But when we feel unique we also feel separate. The metaphor of web of life doesn’t work for me because it makes me see myself as a separate strand.  I don’t want to feel separate.  I want to feel ONE.  I prefer the image of big part of the Cosmic Soup with my flavor adding to the well-bing of the whole. 

Seeing our selves as separate makes us feel separate, makes us unable to access feelings of belonging or being included in the wholeness of, let alone being and totally merging with All-That-Is.  So the first thing we have to give up is our sense of being separate.  I only know how to do that in mediation or moments of deep contemplation the I release my awareness of my body.

As long as we are identifying ourselves as humans we need contrast in order to understand anything. We need straight in order to perceive crooked. That’s why, we, in our human-ness, think of ourselves as Yin and Yang, masculine and feminine and therefore separate ourselves from each other.  When in fact, there is a feminine in the masculine and masculine in he feminine and energy moves in a constant cycle that contains both. 

The Truth is we are one all one encompassing vibration

Call it Tao, or All that Is, or the Nowhere That We Came From, it is the fundamental energy – It. Oneness.  There is no separateness.  There is no you and me, there is only One – Tao – All that Is – the Great Nothingness.  Let’s explore how we can know more about Oneness. How we can understand it.  How we can experience it. 

There comes a point in most of my mediations that my awareness of my body disappears and I seem to float off to wherever I go.  Shamanic Journeying is my major mediation of choice, but I also experience that in  Transcendental Meditation which is mantra based and also disappears my body very radially. Mantras are good.  Mudras are good. Slow breathing is good. Sitting still in nature is good. Those are all methods to help you disappear your experience of being a body – a separate body.  They help you merge into the experience of ONE. 

I like to use the word Tao to describe this oneness because it does not create an image for me.  It simply is a  fundamental, inclusive, non image-provoking word. 

Tao refers to our all-ness,  our oneness. It is the fundamental non-body experience. When you experience Tao you are in every thing ,of everything ,You are everything. 

How do we experience Tao?  How do we understand its concept? How do we feel it? How do we become it? There’s no becoming toTao.  We already are Tao. 

Don’t fall into the trap of being the observer.  Be the be-er.  Be Tao. Be All-That-Is.  Just BE One. 

Learn to immerse yourself in and merge with the Unseen World

I use shamanic journeying to experience myself as being in and of the Unseen World. The Unseen World is where I  begin to explore and experience the concept of one. And still, I perceive my helping spirits as physical form metaphors that have meaning to me here in my human expression. 

In mediation, I can disappear my body and yet my mind is still here, one last thread holding me separate. With patience I can leave my awarenss behind and experience oneness.  I get better with practice.

I want to bring this experience of Oneness more clearly into my human experience. To help me deepen my immersion in the Field of Oneness.  I could look for similarities rather than differences. That might change how I view others. I would experience the oneness of Tao in them. 

I could find my commonality with nature. Spend more time in a receptive silence just listening and feeling. I would experience the oneness of Tao then. 

Staying mindful of our Oneness helps us be more present, more aware, more reflective and accepting of a moment, an action, an experience.  

Perhaps being mindfully aware is as close as we, here in our body expression, can get to the Oneness of Tao. But we can keep practicing and we will get better at experiencing everything as one.

When you begin to deepen  your connection with nature – the wind, the sun, the earth, – the gradual growth of a plant, the simple celebration of life cycles thoughout the flow of nature – you begin to release your awareness of you as separate and begin to immerse yourself in oneness.

I like the world “tranquility.”   I create ways to experience tranquility. When I sit in a chair, and move deeply into  my inner experience, I begin to release all my body restrictions. I become tranquil.  It is a stillness that encompasses and embraces everything. It is All That Is. 

I want to deepen that experience. I want to feel my awareness of “self”  merge with the Unseen World.  I want to experience that All-ness, that Oneness – and disappear me as a planetary presence in a body.

I can do that when I allow myself to merge with the Unseen World. 

We consider this concept on One as well as we can from our human separateness.

And we can use our human-ness to merge with the Great All-ness, the Unseen World.

So we are aware that as long as we experience ourselves as confined to our bodies, we will continue to experience ourselves as separate.  We don’t want that.  We want to experience ourself as one all encompassing vibration

We are Oneness. With practice and focused choice, we can learn to experience ourselves as one.  It is from that stage of deep inner stillness that I began to feel and experience my absorption into the All.

One of the ways I explore oneness is exploring the Unseen World.  There are many ways to do that.  We do it in our dreams.  We do that in our imagination, in  mediation, in shamanic journeying. 

It is said that 95% of everything is unseen.  That’s means we are relying on 5% of what exists to understand and live our ives.  We have some exploring to do.  It is up to you to find your own path to the Unseen World. 

It could be the sense of disappearing into the melody of a song.  It could be total absorption in a moment in which you are totally unaware of your separate body.  Sometimes when I write, my body disappears and all tat is left are my fingers typing what is being shared through me from the Unseen World, the part of the All-ness I have set out to explore. 

But I also explore the Unseen World though Shamanic journeying where we are taught that whatever image shows up is a metaphor for something only we can interpret. I have guides and helping spirits that regularly  appear, and then sometimes I experience being asked to disappear my experience as a body and float in the Void and experience whatever I experience. I am given  messages and guidance when I go exploring in the Unseen World.  I have figured out that my job is to bring back the insights I am given and figure out way to apply them in the expression of our human constrictions.  Then share them with you.

Find your own pathway to experience your essence in the Al That Is. You may lose the limitations of your body though singing or drumming or running.  You may lose your awareness of being a separate self in nature. Experiment and find your own way into the Oneness of All.

Everything is One Energy

Absorb this concept. Live this concept.  We are all ONE energy. 

The vibration you put out affects the whole.  Begin there and monitor your thoughts and words and actions. Make certain they are for the highest good of all.

Begin to see yourself reflected in the actions of others and the world around you. It is you coming back to you.  The energy you put out comes right back at you. You can control what you put out.  Make more conscious choices in all you say and do and think. 

Become more aware of how you hold yourself apart. Begin to see others as a reflecdtion of you.

Initiate more quiet time in which you allow your body to disappear as you move into greater connection with Tao. All That Is. The Emptiness That Holds Everything.  Disappear your body and Be present in One. 

 We Are One With the Whole. We ARE the wholeness.

Deeper Song Process

  • Begin to notice your tendency to see yourself as separate rather than as one. 
  • Go to nature. In reflective silence let yourself experience an element of nature – a tree, a rock, the wind. Take time to lose your awareness of your body and merge with the nature element you have chosen. 
  • Notice how your body gradually disappears as you connect more deeply with the nature element you have chosen. 
  • As you move through your life, notice how separately you hold yourself and begin, at least mentally, to put yourself in the other person’s place, or merge with their energy or wrap that other person in loving energy that you hold out to them. 
  • Interact from a position of being one energy with everything and everyone  
  • Repeat frequently.

I spend time in mindful silence and feel myself fill with the presence of One. I carry that with me throughout my day.

In this episode of Reflections of a Deeper Song, we learn How to Lob Light Balls to the World.

I don’t remember when I first started lobbing light balls. But I know why I did.  I’m 88 and my activist choices seem to be centered in intentional energy work. We can all do that. 

Sometimes I sit here and watch the many disruptions all over the planet and I feel a bit inadequate to do anything. Until I remember Light Balls.  I can lob Light balls any place I want.  Like Lebron James or Steph Curry, just making one ringer after another.  

A Light Ball carries your intention. 

A Light Ball raises vibration.

A Light Ball encourages others to raise their own light.  

That’s a lot of positive change coming for lobbing a light ball!

Light Balls carry your intention.

A light ball is just that – light – vibrating wholeness. It carries with it a higher vibration that enables us, each and eery one of us, wherever we are, to send a light ball of raised vibrational energy to any situation, any person, any group of people, or any disruption in nature. 

Our initial tendency is to work only from within our body existence and allow ourselves to feel limited by our thoughts and our emotions. Bur remember  when we are so much more than that. Our Higher Self works in the Unseen World and it can do anything!!!

Lobbing a Light ball is extremely empowering.

For me, the purpose of a light ball is to do just that, bring some light into the darkness, some compassion and inclusion and – you get the picture – a Light Ball goes and does what light does – it raises the vibration and reminds us that we are all one energy. 

That’s pretty powerful stuff. 

How do we use these Light balls?  Why do we use these light balls?

A light Ball raises vibration.

Sometimes I lob a lot of light balls in one direction.  Sometimes I toss light balls more often than at other times  but the intention is the same – to remind us all that we are one whole interconnected vibration, that there is no difference and we harm ourselves when we harm others.  

That’s a lot of powerful results come from a little light ball. 

I have also been known to toss a light ball up in the air and then stand under it till it bops me on the head and I get it!

Now, I could attach a strong intention to the light ball I lob, but light is light and it is whole and that’s what I want to send – the awareness of, the feeling of the knowledge of our oneness, our wholeness, our inclusion in the one energy. 

A light ball.  Lob a light ball…

I suppose we could make them colored, but I’ll leave that up to the light ball.  And since I send it with my intention, I don’t even have to be a particularly good shot  – it knows where it is to go.

Light Balls know where they are needed, so you can toss them in the air with a general intention, and like a guided missile, off they go.  

And you can also focus light balls on a specific situation or an energy of unrest.

I journeyed to find out how best to use Light Balls.  Here are some of the insights I received:

Light balls carry a high vibration that can raise the consciousness of any situation.

Light balls know where their energy is needed.

Light balls know whose heart is open.

Light balls carry a high vibration that can raise the consciousness of any situation.

When you chose to Lob a Light Ball you begin by raising your vibration, by making your intention be for the highest good of all. You do not choose an outcome, you simply send in a higher vibration though the Light. 

Light balls know where the energy is needed

Let the light balls go out into the planet’s atmosphere and like a programed drone, know where they are to go, where they are needed.  There is great power in the light.  We may choose an overall intention to send light balls to a special situation but then we release the light balls so they can go where they are most needed.  There is no way we can know whose heart is open or who is ready to change, but Light does.  Light knows who is ready to raise their vibration and it will move to those who are ready.  Ready to raise their vibrato-in  Ready to raise their light.   

Light balls know where their energy is needed.

Light balls know whose heart is open.

A light ball is an intently raised vibration that goes where it is needed. A Light Ball encourages those it lands on to raise their own light.  

So here’s what is happening.  This is a transformative period in which those of us who are aware of ourselves as light move more deeply into our light center, raise our vibration, and move into a new level of conscoioiusness . Not everyone is called to this next step, but those of us who are, are to act as a bridge for others who are ready to raise their awareness and move into the new consigns. We do that through our example. We do that by raising our vibration and sending out light.  One of the ways we can do that is by lobbing night balls.  

What happens when a person reeve the light ball? They recognize the light within themselves and recognize it as a part of themselves they want to cultivate and expand.  They respond. They look up and there, encircling the planet is an ever-thickening layer of light – our collective, intentional energy, our combined energy holding high watch for the world, inviting other beings to join us.  We are joined in raising the collective consciousness all over the world. 

Those who see, respond.  They raise their vibration. They begin sharing their own light in a more conscious way.  The world balances. 

Light balls know who’s heart is open.  They are heart-seeking missiles that are drawn to those who are ready to open their hearts further and raise their vibration and move into the New Consciousness. 

Just as the roots of the trees connect all trees to each other under the ground, our light, our intention healing light, our light of oneness, will journey where it is needed in the situation or person you direct them to. They know what is needed.  They know the specific place to shed light to change the entire trajectory of the situation.

Light Balls know where to go, who is ready to receive their enlightened energy. Bless the light balls, release  them and let your general intention carry them where they are most needed, to those who are ready to receive them, to bring the light into their heart and create positive change. 

It only takes a second to lob a light ball.  One thought, one intention and it’s done.

Lob a light ball to a friend who is struggling. 

Lob a light ball to people and places on the planet that are struggling. 

Toss a Light ball up in the air and stand under it until it bops you on the head…

It’s not about looking for negative energy, it is more about encouraging you to feel that you are working for a higher good and it is effective. 

Next time you are feeling a tad helpless, get out our bag go light balls and like a ball throwing machine, start tossing them out into our world with the intention that those who see them and are ready, will recognize that light within themselves and will join us in the collective consciousness that is forming a layer of fling around our planet.

An Exploration of the Unseen World

Our world is changing rapidly and dramatically and we have work to do in order to move into the New Consciousness that is emerging on our planet. We have to change. We have to choose what to leave behind and most of all, we have to keep raising our vibration….!

Not everyone is aware of this New Consciousness.  They see the turmoil but not the promise.   

And a great many people are simply not drawn to this new level of being. But those of us who recognize this call have work to do.

I don’t know where it will lead.  I do know that we must set our sails in the direction of this higher vibration, this New Consciousness.  I know that’s where I’m headed. As are you, because you are drawn to the message of podcast Will you come exploring with me?

In this episode of Reflections of a Deeper Song, we think about how those of us who are called,  are to continue Our Ongoing Journey into the New Consciousness.

Many people are wondering what’s going on.  Why are we experiencing this huge and challenging change?  Where are we headed?  

The fact is that change is ever-present and on-going, and where we head next and where we end up can be directly influenced by our own consciences. choices.  We need to give our thoughts and intentions and beliefs some careful consideration. 

  • What is this New Consciousness? The fact is, that although it is relatively new in our awareness, the New Consciousness, the new State of Being is already here. We just have to increase our own awareness and raise our participation in it. 
  • How does it come into being? Where does it take us? Here we are, ready and willing, how do we embrace this New Consciousness?  What steps do we take?  How do we know if we are succeeding? What is our role?
  • And finally, we need to figure out how to find each other so we can walk the path together.

The fact is, that although it is relatively new in our awareness, the New Consciousness, the new State of Being is already here. We just have to increase our own awareness and participation in it. Our first step is to become aware of the existence of this New Consciousness. 

Our planet is changing very rapidly. We are part of a huge over-arching cycle but within that Grand Cycle, there are smaller cycles with various goals and outcomes.  We are part of the cycle working to raise our individual vibration and blend it with others for the over-arching good of all. There are smaller cycles within the Grand Cycle.  

We have ignored a lot of the signals that this New Consignees is actively and enthusiastically coming into being. Environmental change is one huge sign. We notice it, we were warned about it, and we ignored it.  But nature is putting her foot down and we are to heed her warnings and take strong actions. 

It is also interesting that with the world quarantined with no immediate correction in sight, we are in an unexpected position of reinventing everything we do and even starting some solutions from scratch. We need to become very innovative and creative. We need to look at all our current choices from this new perspective. We need to question all of our former choices.  We are to take giant steps into the new technology and innovative discoveries. We have to let go of the way it was because it’s not going to be that way again.  And that can be scary. And exciting.  And challenging.  It’s time to be creative and innovative and look for entirely new ways to provide a service or a product. 

We can do that. We just have to identify a need and begin to provide an innovative answer. Put on your creative hat and go exploring.  Be open to the oddest of ideas.  Who knows what is needed in this New Consciousness? We have some exciting creating to do. 

What does this New Consciousness want from us? What does it need from us? 

The overarching energy shift is the rise of the feminine.  That means the qualities of flexibility, creativity, compassion, and a great deal of determination. This feminine cycle has just begun and it has many centuries in which to develop. We are here at the beginning of the rise of the New Conscious. 

What is our role?  

I first became aware o the Transformational Community in the 80’s when I lived in New York City. I was definitely a part of it as I became a Reiki Master Teacher and worked with those affected by the beginning of the AIDs epidemic, but I didn’t see it as a revolution, a major change, I was just ecstatic to find like-minded people to learn from and work with. The idea of a new consciousness was not in our vocabulary.  That seems to have emerged in the last few years. And I am forty years further into whatever you want to call this major shift in consciousness. 

Not everyone is going to move into this New Consciousness. They may not ever be aware of it or have the tools to make the necessary changes in themselves. And we have to make that OK. Those of us who are aware of subtle energy, who experience ourselves as belonging to an over-arching vibration of oneness, have work to do.  We have to contribute positive energy to this expanding field of the energy of Oneness.   

We are to continue to raise our vibration.  We do that with intention and energy work. I have become more aware of the power of our collective vibration as I am honored to have people from all over the world join the Deeper Song Community.  I once had a Reiki client say she had found me by tuning into my energy in the New York City phone book!  Energy is a powerful connector.   

The fact is there are a lot of us that are mooning into this New Conscionssness but there are more people unaware of the need to raise our consciences than people who are. 

So part of our role in the New Consciousness is to shine our light so others see it and recognize it in themselves. 

According to HeartMath.org  every thought in our heart connects 100 thousand hearts around us. We have planetary work to do and we have the ability to do it. 

We are in a period of conscious change and those of us who are aware of this unfolding change have work to do.  We must raise our own vibration.  We must raise our consciousness. And we must shine our light into the world so those who are aware of the own light within can find us and become part of the group consciousness. 

Our path is underway.  It is evolving and it is attracting more and more conscious seekers.  

Notice the dramatic changes around you.  Notice the subtle change around you. It’s like a new bud that suddenly bursts into full bloom and its fragrance begins to permit the entire garden. 

We have to balance our conciseness and keep it balanced.  We have to change and keep changing. This is a time of evolution and it is all about welcoming change – letting go of what no lobe serves us, repurposing the gifts we have been given, and allowing our minds and our imagination to soar. We are to follow this new path, this path that asks us to leave behind our old ways and move into an adventure that takes us places we have yet to imagine. 

It is a new world unfolding and we have changes to make. 

This time is truly is about creating a “New Consciousness.” I know that I create my reality through my thoughts.  I know that my words and beliefs and actions determine my experience.  I know how to change that.  I have begun to be more aware of my choices, my words, and particularly my beliefs around what is possible. And I try to stay very, very, very flexible!  

So here we are,  ready and willing to embrace this New Consciousness but without any real idea of the steps to take let alone how to know if we are on the right track.  

This is enormous change. There is a faint trail forming as others find creative ways to raise their consciousness and raise the vibration of our collective Field of Light energy.  

This new trail we are traveling shows us a powerful need for change and a need to rapidly adapt to the new surroundings that are unfolding.. There can be turmoil and uncertainty in change.  And it can also be very freeing.  

There is discovery in change.  There is re-evaluation n change.  There is choice in change.  There is patience involved with change. Most of all, change allows us to reach a new state of consciousness, a new state of being.  And that is what many of us want. 

We have to trust.  And we have to keep looking.  I know this [art of welcoming and embracing this New Consciousness, this new State of Being is about each of us raising or vibration.  We do that through intention.  And we monitor our beliefs and actions and words to make certain they keep us on this higher plane. 

It is our responsibility to change ourselves in order to change our world. 

We begin by examining our beliefs of what is possible.

In order to manifest a new state of consciousness, we have to manifest change within ourselves, here in our human expression. That means we have to examine and question our beliefs, our attitudes, our understanding, and our actions. 

How do your actions need to change?

This is a time that asks for great flexibility, great curiosity, the willingness to try new things, and diligent creativity when it comes to bringing new ides life. 

We are still in the early stages of developing a New State of Consciousness but the momentum is building rapidly. 

What does“a new state of consciousness” mean to you? What are we building?. How do we do that?  Who is doing that?  How do we find and recognize each other?  And most of all, what will the New State of Consciousness look like?  And feel like?

My personal primary goal is to continue to raise my vibration –  whatever the looks like and feels like and however I find to do that. I use powerful tools like intention, shamanic journeying, mediation –  physical things like Qi Gong and music and dance – a spiritual practice built on all the myriad of spiritual practices I have explored  and included in my life. There are many ways to raise our awarenss and our vibration.

So I study and go where I am called. Then I turn and share with others what I discover.

There are others on this unfolding path. We may call ourselves transformational thinkers, or light-workers, or Transcendent Leaders,  but there are many of us and we do recognize each other and are creating powerful international groups with very high intentions. 

As I continue to raise my vibration it is going to resonate with others who are also consciously raising their vibration and we may even support each other in our journey.  Raise your vibration and see how your life changes.

So we know the New Consciousness, the New State of Being is already here. 

We know that we need to change our thoughts and beliefs and actions to continue to raise our vibration to be a useful participant in this New Conciseness. 

How do we find others and walk the path with them?

The idea that not everyone will move into this New Reality, this New Consciousness, disturbed me a bit when I thought about it from my human perspective. Then  I found some numbers. There are about 80 million people who are in the Transformation Community but there are 7.8 billion poplins in the world.  We are outnumbered but collectively we are very, very powerful. And of course, not everyone is going to be drawn to this New Consciousness, this new State of Being.

We have to go where we organically congregate.  We get to find each other online in classes and events and FaceBook groups that are energetically gathering to create change in our panel.  We enthusiastically participate and we find others walking this same path as like-minded light-bearers.

I have seven friends with whom I speak or write to regularly.  Each friend both nurtures and challenges me. We help each other grow stronger and stranger and our light shines more brightly. Cultivate new like-minded friends online and walk this unfolding path together.

Stay aware. Stay open.  Be flexible. Explore the myriad of new possibilities that are evolving. This New Convinces is a work in progress and we are part of that work. 

We are developing a new State of Being and it will be awesomely beautiful as well as very, very different.  

As I work on raising my vibration, expanding my awarenesss,  moving into broader service,  and constantly work on changing myself, I have a different effect on the world around me. It is more powerful  It is more profound. 

I walk the earth with a more conscious footstep. I interact with others with a deeper awareness of our core connection. I recognize our similarities.  

And that changes the response of the world around me. 

We are developing an expanded vibration.

We are to become centered, aware, with an ever-rising vibration –  that’s how are to walk the earth now.  We are to be more mindful of nature – our own unique and valuable place in nature, the gifts nature brings to us, our interactions with nature, our role in nature. And most of all we raise our awareness of our oneness with the vibration of All.

In my spiritual practice, I sit and consciously raise my vibration through intention.

In my spiritual practice, I experience myself as an integral part of the light field of consciousness that surrounds our planet.  

In my spiritual practice, I see other light beings look up and see us hold that steady light and recognize it in themselves.  They make a choice and come join is.  The field of light grows brighter.  

It isa powerful sight to see. 

This group, this transformation group then turns to the future.  We set down the beliefs and habits and expectations of our old reality and with our lights shining brightly and steadily, we move along the path in that leas to our New Conscious. Our Next. Our Future. 

Cultivating a New State of Consciousness will create a New State of Being. How are you going to begin? How are you going to continue?

The New Consciousness, the new State of Being is already here.

When I raise my gaze, I see the new path, the new horizon.  I choose that path and move forward with strong purpose and deep trust.

When I approach someone in a high vibration I move within so we are talking heart to heart.  When I work, I put my whole self into what I am doing.  Gibran says, “Work is love made viable.”  I make my love more visible. 

Cultivating a New State of Consciousness will create a New State of Being.

How are you going to begin? How are you going to continue?

Shamanic journeying is a form of meditation that is filled with metaphors that only we are to interpret.  The River of Time appeared in one of my journeys and has led me on many adventures.  Here is the story of my first encounter and the adventure it took me on.

An Exploration of the Unseen World

I was on a shamanic journey and I had a very powerful healing experience that opened up great opportunity to return and do more deep healing and discovery.  I want to share that experience with you. 

I have returned a few times to this healing place and each time more has been released.  I am not clear what has been cleared and cleanses, I simply know that it has.

Granted, each metaphor in a shamanic journey is for us to interpret, but this is a powerful concept that I know will guide you into an amazing experience.   

I’m Cara Lumen, spiritual philosopher and founder of the Deeper Song Community. I am a cosmic explorer who consciously travels into the unseen world to serve as a bridge to help us expand our relationship with the spiritual world. I share what I learn and guide those who are ready to the next level so we can sing a deeper song.

In this episode of Reflections of a Deeper Song I shay my Discovery of The River of Time.  

Shaming journeying is a form of mediation.  We go to our Sacred Garden, which represents aspects of us, and are given metaphors as messages that only we are to interpret. 

The message of the River of Time is for all of us.  

It’s always a powerful experience when we learn to release an unknown blockage – an unknown belief. 

And because you do not know the specifics, you lean to trust – trust the process – trust the healing – trust that the necessary blockages and beliefs will be released – and trust your interpretation of the metaphors.

You become very observant of the sublet changes that manifest from this experience of releasing. 

This particular journey does all of that. 

I did not know this was a healing journey until it simply was.  I don’t ever remember my intention but it turns out this journey was about releasing and clearing and clearing.  Here was my experience.   

I went into the meditate state of a Shamanic Journey. 

I found myself by a river.  It was flowing from my left to my right.  It was not deep. It was clear and I could see the smooth water-worn rocks beneath the gently moving water.  I stepped into the shadow part of the river.  Immediately I saw dark colors move out through the bottom of my feet. I felt nothing, no emotion, no sense of release, I just saw it go.  Something was leaving me, something no longer wanted or needed.   I mentally reached out through the bottom of my feet and content with Gaia, earth, the molten cleansing core, and brought that powerful energy to help continue the exodus of whatever was leaving my body through the soles of my feet, streaming into the shallow water.  I stood there for a long while. The black color I was releasing though my feet became grey, and then a more smoky in color. 

Still standing in the shallow water, I opened myself up to my Soul Star.  Immediately powerful energy came in through my crown and gradually moved from my head through my body and out my feet, Again clearing and cleansing and releasing as it went.  I did not know what it was clearing out I simply stood there and accepting that release of what was no longer needed in m life and in my body.. 

Then I was moved to sit down in the water, up to my neck, my arms around me knees.  Immediately more blackness came out of the right side of my body ,being carted away by the water that was flowing from my left to my right.  I felt nothing.  I just watched it move out of my body and knew I was being cleansed and healed and rebalanced.  The color went form black to dark blue to ever increasing lighter colors until it was iridescent – fun of rainbows.  

Now here’s the part I have not yet interpreted.  A very large fish showed up to my left, she was gold and she simply smiled at me.  I have no idea what that meant.  I have a feeling she is a new helping spirit but I do now know her role.

And at that moment I knew I was in the River of Time and I was releasing stuck energy from the past and the present and was clearing the way for my next, my future.  Clearing cleaning, releasing. All from simply sitting in the River of Time. 

What powerful gift. A way to let go, to make room for.  How extraordinarily freeing.

I have been back to the River of Time several times since, sometimes with a specific request, sometimes just to offer myself for a clearing of whatever needs to be released at this moment.  It is a very powerful journey. This is a very powerful healing metaphor because it lets you release the unknown – the unknown blockages, or wounds or…  It just lets you – let go.

This journey allows you to trust.  To trust that whatever is rebased is what needs to go and you don’t have to know exactly what it is.

I did not have a plan for releasing anything.  It just happened. What I released is still unknown to me but because of its color and how the color gradually lighted in color, I interpreted that to be healing.  A release.  A cleansing.

I have never gone to the River of Time with an intention to heal a particular experience or wound, but I could.  I could set an intention and go to the edge of the river and see what I was invited to do.  I may be invited to toss in what I want to release into the River of Time.  I may simply put my fingertips into the river.  Or I may dive clear in over my head.  Whatever happens, it is a metaphor for change, a metaphor for releasing what is no longer needed or wanted or even releasing blockages that are unknown.  

I still do not know what the big gold fish as about, but she defiantly smiled at me. 

So we have a metaphoric healing process that lets us release the unknown, that encouraged us to trust that what is being released is beneficial. 

Ans we get to trust the process, the experience and notice what changes manifest.

I have been back to the River of Time in a journey several times. I have gone with a specific intention to release a blockage in my body.  It is a welcome place, a soothing place, a clearing place and place of change.  My River of Time has fluffy cumulus clouds reflected in it. There are birds singing in the surrounding forest, there is sun shining on its surface.  When you journey to the River of Time notice the landscape around it, the direction the river flows, what you are called to do.  Let the River of Time lead you into this clearing process that will be unique to you.   

I like the idea of the River of Time. It means I can go back into time and heal from a timeline of the past. It means I can take positive action in the present moment that will clearer the energy for my future timelines.  

Use your imagination. Remember that everything in your journey is a metaphor that only you are to interpret.   Let the River of Time guide you  and heal you and use it often.
