Our Work in the World

February 2, 2017 By Cara Lumen

heal world

Those of us who are spiritually active have very specific and powerful work to do. We have steadily worked to develop a highly conscious awareness. We look for spiritual guidance in the lessons of nature and embrace the on-going cycles of change. We understand our interconnection will everything. This inclusive consciousness gives us the ability and responsibility to promote and support positive change and we are greatly needed in the world of today.

At first I didn’t understand how I could help. I watched divisiveness and negativity and hatred erupt, even in countries that seemed more tolerant and accepting of individual expression. It shocked and dismayed me and I felt truly helpless.

Join with others to change the group consciousness

As I began to join groups of people from all over the world who came together to vision and meditate for a common cause, to focus their group energy on a higher outcome, I felt useful. I felt needed. And I did more.

I now understand the power we, as conscious, caring individuals, have to change our world. Those of us who work with the express purpose of helping the world to move into a higher consciousness, are expanders of consciousness, changers of the group energy.

This of us who are using our spirituality to heal and whole, are finding each other online and in person. As we combine our collective energy, we bring peace and harmony to others. Since our work is on the inner plane it may not be readily noticeable, but people will feel it and radiate more wholeness in their lives. Their light will ripple out and touch the hearts of others and the world will change and heal.

We energy workers are a small percentage of the population and there’s much work to do. Collectively we are very impactful.

We hold the vision

As spiritually aware and consciously active participants in our world, we are charged with holding a vision — a vision of inclusiveness, empathy, and active caring for the well-being of the whole planet, not just our own personal life experience.

We learn to move beyond ourselves to think bigger, to see the overview, to pull others up so they can see new possibilities. We believe that we can heal and whole our world by changing the group consciousness around what is possible. And that work begins with each of us and our daily, individual, active spiritual practice, whatever that looks like to you.

What is our purpose?

As healers of the planet, our purpose goes beyond our own lives. We have to hold the light for those who are not yet in the place of understanding that we are all one energy, that we are interconnected, that we are the same. Our purpose is to hold high a light of collective consciousness and show others the path to feeling and knowing and immersing themselves in the oneness that we are. We are leaders and explorers. We are way-showers. We are teachers, and guides. We are consciousness changers.

We do our work by actively and consciously focusing positive energy, both in our individual spiritual practice and in like-minded groups. Our personal energy work makes a major difference in the world, but when we gather together and focus on the same positive purpose, we more greatly affect the group consciousness and that leads to major positive change in our world.

Do your consciousness work – daily

Do some form of purposeful energy work every day. Meditation, prayer, affirmations, visioning, hands-on service. Shift your own consciousness to become more inclusive, more empathetic. Broaden your experience of the glorious diversity around you. Look for the gifts others bring. Learn from them Love them. Send your soul out into the world to heal and whole.

Do the work, daily. Focus on the well-being of the whole world or focus on a specific cause. Work with the knowledge that we are all one energy, one web of life. As you work, watch for change and become more aware of the power of your own focused and purposefully intention.

That’s our work in the world. To shine light in the dark corners and show others a higher path.

The Power of Positive Purpose

January 25, 2017 By Cara Lumen

lightening1

I have to believe that I can make a difference. I have to believe that my thoughts and focused intentions can actually change the world.
I no longer need proof because my belief in the power of positive purpose is so great that I have now immersed myself in that work.

We are limited by our body suit

It’s very easy to feel constrained by the confines of our human dimension, our Body Suit and our mind. We think that if we can’t imagine it, it can’t happen. But that’s simply not true. Our universe goes back millions of years. Millions. Each day new things are being discovered that we never thought possible a few days earlier. What we have to work with is this one moment. And then this moment. And this one. What we do in this moment has great power.

What do you do with your power now?

If “all there is” is in this moment, what’s the best use of it? I could worry, or be angry. I can make plans or create something. I can be still and listen to my inner voice. The most powerful act any of us can take in the present moment is to be present. Simply be. Stop the human mind. Listen to the voice within.

The unifying message is the voice within

When I shut out the busy-ness of my human mind, I’m steeped in a beautiful wholeness, a feeling of serenity, of connectedness, of floating free. Gradually, I can lose my sense of separateness and merge with this floating feeling as if I were part of a cloud, or fog, or mist. Perfect peace here. No judgment. No conflict. Only peace, serenity and stillness.

I like being here. I feel nurtured and supported and energized
— simply by losing myself in the present moment.

Your answers lie within

I listen. There’s stillness. And there’s simple knowing. There’s connection — not with other separate beings, but with a Great Whole — Tao. That energy that is both within and outside each of us.

As I learn to trust the nudges and nuances that come from deep within, I learn to translate those on the human plane. Even as I begin to interpret those wisps and insights, I move back within to make certain I’m interpreting correctly.

Our positive purpose

We each have a purpose. We have a responsibility to learn what it is and to translate it into our human life, our body suits. We are to walk beside others in service. We are to use our gifts to enlighten and inspire and motivate others. And then we get to work. We take our gifts and our purpose out into the physical plane and make positive stuff happen.

First we use the power of our intention. Then we adjust to what we find in the world, pulling it always toward wholeness and oneness. There is no separation. We are one.

Everything we do affects the whole. Our response to the whole affects everything we do. We must see and feel and be our wholeness.

Take your focused intention into the world

Very few people on the planet are doing this focused inner work. Those who are called are free of all dogma and all religion. They’re spiritually inquisitive metaphysical explorers, ready to examine and experience the unknown. We believe our focused thoughts have the power to heal. We know our focused thoughts, particularly in groups, can change everything and anything and bring it back into wholeness.

Find the group intention that calls to you and join in and do the work.

How About a Woman’s Political Party? The Party of Common Ground!

January 23, 2017 By Cara Lumen

woman and flag

What would a Woman’s Political Party look like? It would focus on nurturing. It would focus on empathy and inclusion. It would focus on peaceful co-existing and cooperation. What would a world look like in which there were conversations rather than wars in order to negotiate a peaceful solution? What if there were no egos struggling for power. What if?

I’d vote for that.

It’s not about the peace-seeking flower power of the 60’s. It’s not about the woman’s liberation movement of the 60’s and 70’s. It’s about the women we have become. The intelligent, wise, inclusive, empathetic feminine nature that cares for others, that safeguards others, that nurtures and supports.

But there’s another side to the feminine; there’s the Rainbow feminine, the one who is creative and pro-active, who leads and creates and motivates and inspires and, again, is inclusive.

What if our women took over our government? Became our duly elected leaders? What would that world look like? No Republicans and Democrats, only a party of wholeness, of statesmanship, of inclusion. There would not be two sides, we would seek to stand on common ground.

It’s exciting to consider.

The Party of Common Ground

What would it look like if there were no longer different sides of the aisle? What if a group of elected people got together and simply said, who is drawn to caring for the environment — go form a committee and figure out a solution and present it to us all. We will decide on action by building on our common ground.

What if the people who cared about the well-being of children gathered together to figure out common ground and common steps? What if we had a collection of women government officials who actually listened — not to the political “sides,” but to the problem and searched for a common solution?

What if the sole purpose of the elected representatives was to find common ground and then build from there? Of course that would mean compromise, but it would also mean collective action.

It would mean listening with our heart to the needs of the other person.

It would mean being flexible and open-minded.

It would mean being willing to change.

It would mean working with our intelligence to find a creative, innovative solution that addresses the constant changes on our planet home.

It would mean making space in our hearts for the phenomenal and beautiful diversity that is our nation.

It would mean having to listen, accept our differences, and work for the highest good of all.

Women have the power to elect our leaders

We are a majority here. But we would have to vote as one.

It doesn’t mean that men would not participate, they would, but the main responsibility rests with each of us, with our participation in our local government and our state governments and our federal government. This Party of Common Ground can be a unifier, an eraser of the divides. If we see ourselves as one party, we can work within that party for common ground, for universally positive answers.

What if the Women’s Party of Common Ground was world wide?

What if we collectively created a model of alignment that could be extended to the rest of the world? What if an international group of women came together and found common causes and agreement and took those ideas back to their country. This becomes a World Party. A Planetary Party.

Wow!

We have to move from “me” to “we.”

Where to start — our common concerns

Equality. Respect. Inclusion. Safety. Being able to support ourselves. Worker’s rights, reproductive rights, environmental justice, immigrant rights, sexual preference rights and ending violence against women. Safety for our children. Education for our children. Jobs and training for people of all skill levels and ages. It’s a diverse group of people with diverse needs. It’s a tall order. We must find the common ground and begin there.

What to include — our differences

When we look at an opposite view as an opportunity to learn, it changes how we see it. And, most importantly, in the Party of Common Ground we must agree to disagree and find the compromises necessary to move forward.

We MUST educate ourselves. We MUST examine our beliefs and question them. We MUST understand the other person’s point of view. We must be flexible. And we must be willing to CHANGE. This is not about “my way”, it’s about “our way.”

We must now take responsibility and lead.

How do we start a global political party that has begun with the world-wide marches?

The New Wave of Positive Purpose

January 16, 2017 By Cara Lumen

word commuinty

A new wave of energy is forming. It’s going to replace the fear and adversity that’s taken over as we watch the US politics of derision, the inhuman killing of people in other parts of the world, and the mindless destruction of our planet home.

This new wave comes from people like you and me — spiritually oriented, thoughtful, inclusive — who care enough about our future and our children and our planet to take action here and now. The new wave. The new wave of thoughtfulness. The new wave of trading information for knowledge and then making informed decisions based on that new insightfulness.

The discovery of the new wave

This week I participated in a Full Moon meditation with David Nichol on Gaifield.net The idea of a group meditation is to use our spiritual practices for collective change rather than just individual change.

After the meditation we had an opportunity call in to add an individual statement.. One person said she was connecting with the new energy that’s emerging to transform the sense of fear into connection.

I was stunned. There was hope!

New power is emerging from those of us who see a need to turn the tide of negativity and divisiveness.

My eyes teared. My focus shifted. I felt hope. I felt power. I felt determined.

I got on the call to thank the person who pointed out that a new energy was emerging and shared that it gave me a strong new sense of power and purpose —that we are to focus now on the positive possibilities and turn them into probabilities.

Join the New Wave of Positive Purpose

That night, I woke in the early hours before dawn, when the veils are thinnest between the subtle realms, and knew that I was being called. That I was being initiated and welcomed into this new wave of positive purpose. I accepted.

And I got up to add to this post an invitation to you, to make a shift right now, in this moment, from fear and hopelessness and yes, even victimhood, to one of control, of determination, of complete knowing that we have power to create positive change and that we shall prevail.

We, collectively, can change our world. We can heal it. We can shift its path toward good and wholeness. By our intention. By our focused energy. By our belief in the power of the collective focus on good.

Collectively we have great power

We are not helpless in the face of the negativity that seems so prevalent. But we must take conscious action on the inner plane. There are people all over the world who are focusing energy on healing and wholing our planet and its inhabitants. There’s tremendous power when we focus our minds and intentions.

Look for and feel a new quality of wholing and healing power and a great sense of urgency that we, as spiritually focused beings, can bring something new and inclusive and empathetic into the world. Let the challenges we’re facing motivate us to focus our intuition on the positive. This does and will make a difference.

It’s the thought that counts

When you see the negative, stop and look for the positive and focus on that. Send supportive thoughts to those who are expressing the values you hold. Send thoughts of balance and wholeness to situations like Standing Rock, the refugee crisis and climate control. Our thoughts count. Yours. Mine. Our thoughts collectively focused on the positive have great power. Be a part of that. Be generous with your focused, intentional, positive thoughts.

What we focus on, we get. Focus on what is good and fair and positive.

Focus on what we can create together

This new wave comes from people like you and me — spiritually oriented, thoughtful, inclusive and caring — who care enough about our future and our children and our planet to take action here and now. A new wave. A new wave of thoughtfulness. A new wave of inclusiveness.

I’m no longer afraid, or even fearful and I refuse to listen to negativity and derision. I know that particular energy is there but I look for and focus on the positive energy where I can find it.

The people I listen to and hear from and talk to (yes, I am selective) do not condone the negative energy that’s so prevalent in the US today. When so many of us want our government to be inclusive and positive and we see that it is not, we must work energetically to be part of this new wave. A positive focus. Inclusive. Empathetic. Innovation that helps those in need. A focus on positive and constructive change.

Join the subtle group field community

We are energy. We are all one energy in the web of life. You can connect with like-minded people all over the world simply by moving within to meditate or pray or vision, whatever form that calls to you, that moves you to the subtle places where there are millions of people actively holding high watch for the world.

Those of us who are spiritually active can join together on the inner planes from wherever we are. We can connect with fellow visionaries from all over the world, to bring forth a new wave, a new vision, a new way of being.

This is a major world-wide shift. An emerging focus. It exists, this new wave. It’s new. It’s emerging. It’s powerful. And it can change our world into the inclusive energy of loving, kind, mutually supportive people we innately are.

You and I, we’re all a key part of this new wave. May I suggest you join me in creating a daily, spiritual practice focused on the well-being of our world and meet with others on the inner plane who are doing the same.

Welcome to the New Wave of Positive Purpose.

How to Use our Interconnection to Heal the World

October 27, 2016 By Cara Lumen

water ripples

We are interconnected with everyone else through the web of life. We must act as if we are the whole planetary system, because we are.

We are the earth

When we know we are the earth, we become more conscious of how much we consume, how we dispose of our waste, our use of pesticides or chemical fertilizers — all the ways we damage and destroy our earth home and the creatures living on it

When we know that we’re the oceans, we stop leaving our plastic to harm the homes and lives of the animals who live there. We stop putting in chemicals or creating oil spills. We are aware that the seas are rising and entire islands are disappearing.

We may choose to eat organic to support those who do not use pesticides. We may monitor our driving so that we don’t add to the air pollution.

Give some thought to your connection with the earth and care for it as if it is you — because it is.

We are the animal kingdom

When you become aware that you are an integral part of the animal kingdom, you won’t want to do harm to any animal. As I’m a vegan, no animal is harmed or confined because of me. I financially support organizations that are caring for the animals of the planet. I am one with all the animals in he world — as are you.

We are the plant kingdom

I offer gratitude to the tree that shares my window, to the grass that is soft to walk on, to the vegetables that offer me sustenance, to the small animals under the earth that fertilize the soil for the growth of the planet. I am the soil of the earth — as are you.

I am all there is. As are you.

I am the rock that makes a mountain, the water that forms the sea, the clouds that distribute moisture, the birds and bees that pollinate, the animals who roam the land, the fish that inhabit the sea, and I am all the people in the world. As are you.

Our actions affect everything

Become more aware of your place in the web of life, the energy of connection that links each and every one of us to each other. We must act as if we are the whole planetary system, because we are.

Walk softly on our planet.
