Astrology says we are moving into the Age of Aquarius for the next 200 years and two major planets, Jupiter and Saturn, are moving into conjunction for the next 200 years. They are also moving from the element of Earth to the element of Air. Seems like a rather large shift to me.
The Age of Aquarius is about people and communities and it has begun.
The Element of Air is about action, ideas, and motion. Think of shape-shifting clouds, continually on the move, always changing shape. That’s what our life in the Age of Aquarius will be like.
What does that mean for us? What kind of adjustment do we have to make? It’s not like moving to a new outcry and having to get used to a new culture. We are evolving a new culture, a new way of intreating, and being. and it has just begun to unfold. Think where we will be in 200 years!!!!
So here we are with two huge, huge changes to make, the move from the element of Earth to the Element of Air and the beginning of a new 200 year Astrological Age. That’s pretty big stuff.
New groups, communities, connections, and alliances will form. These new networks will have one thing in common – they will be decentralized, self-regulated, and will allow for individual freedom of expression.
We have a lot of old ideas to set aside, a lot of changing to do both within and without. We have a lot of exploring to do in order to figure out how we are to do that.
Our physical world experience has already changed dramatically as the whole planetary population stays home and struggles to simply stay alive.
I experience great relief as I watch President-Elect Joe Biden assemble incredibly smart, wise, experienced people to serve in our government and know that positive change will happen effectively and steadily.
For instance, if we are all going to learn on the internet, then we have to get interconnect with all communities. A few years ago Google Fiber came to the Greater Kansas City area and put in an internet connection for free in a lot of places. It happened to include my senior center. We get the service free for ten years and they have a customer for life.
When you get ready to replace your tablet or laptop, find a child to give it to who needs it for their school work. Maybe you go in person to work with them to get them started. What a lovely new friend to make.
The solar industry is not only going to provide jobs but will make all people- power secure. You can put a solar power panel in your driveway that will power your entire house. They even have solar panels for apartments. Imagine, if everyone, all over the world could have power for cooking and warmth. That’s a huge change.
As large numbers of people work from home the sky is clearing as the pollution ends. The birds are singing in response.
We have learned that growing things vertically is more productive than horizontally. That makes it possible for more people to grow some of their own food in very small spaces. Someone has made building bricks out of growing mushrooms that are stronger than any other rebuilding material.
Jobs will be different. More jobs on the infrastructure in the US, putting in solar charging stations for the electric cars that companies are already beginning to build. There are lots of jobs there. We can build roads out of plastic and built a 3-D house in two weeks. Artificial Intelligence will take us on a whole new adventure and will replace much mundane and repetitious work. Service industries are getting creative and job needs are changing. Some jobs are disappearing forever but they are being replaced by new places of service that are just evolving.
We have to create an educational system that helps train all people to earn their living. That calls for a creative, innovative, responsive curriculum.
But people themselves have to change – a lot. If we are to successfully inhabit this planet and care for her and nurture her, we must all do that together. Each person must raise their awareness to one of conscious caring for our planet and each other. And that’s challenging if you are just focused on trying to survive.
What is our next step – those of us who are reading this? We have to keep a lookout for the clues we will be given and we have to act for the highest good of all.
At 88 I’m a tad old for community service in person, but every day I raise my vibration and send it out to those who can see it and feel it and recognize it in themselves. Then they turn and pass if forward. As I explore and consider the new possibilities, I write about them to you and perhaps that sparks an idea for your expanded place of service.
I’m not trying to predict here, but I can make us aware of the tools we have to work with. A major shift in planetary energy that strengthens our community and our interaction and invitees us to reconsider – everything!

MAJOR LESSONS AND INSIGHTS FROM THIS PAST MOTH
HONOR THE CYCLES
The Winter Solstice marks the beginning of a new cycle. At the point where we move from an old cycle into a new one, that moment contains parts of both – the cycle being left behind and the cycle you are beginning. Release what you have outgrown to make room for what you are ready to experience next and be aware of where you are in the cycles of your life.
USE CEREMONY TO EXPLORE YOUR INNER WORLD
Our life is sacred and every choice we make is worthy of sacred awareness. Whether it is preparing and consuming food, or cleaning our body and our home it is a sacred choice. Our work is sacred. When we pause to honor that awareness, that experience of sacredness, our life will take on a deeper meaning.
Each morning after the ritual of thing and dressing, I play my native flutes to the elements, to nature, to my day, to the well being of my body. I sing the words in my heart as I play.
When I sit at my computer to begin work I say:
“I offer the intention of my heart and the vibration of my voice to heal, balance, deepen awareness, and illuminate those who hear. The tone of my voice brings serenity and tranquility to those who listen. My chosen words offer insights, clarity, wisdom, and inspiration. I send my offerings forth through the power of my Indego Voice.
We are one. We are one. Namaste.”
When new items are brought into my home I offer a clearing. The groceries that are delivered are cleared and blessed as I put them away. Any items I order delivered to my home is cleared and blessed before becoming part of my sacred space.
Use an affirmation, a blessing, or a ceremony to center, create, release, choose, accept, and share each moment of sacredness with which you fill your day.
Create sacred moments of awareness and gratitude as you move through your sacred life.

We are living in a world that is changing so rapidly that we have to broaden our view in order to figure out how we are going to make our next move. What we are going to do. MY CONVERSATION WITH THE PLANET SATURN – GATEKEEPER TO THE UNCONSCIOUS WORLD
Bear in mind that I am a beginning astrologer and I am also an over-view person. I am not a detail person. So I have been looking for the over-arching concept that I can carry forward with me into this new unfolding period in our lives.
I’m picking on one planet to start – Saturn. Partially because I seem to have just had a Saturn return in my chart which only happens every 29 years and also because Saturn has now joined forces with Jupiter and they are both are in Aquarius. And already that is too many aspects for me to grasp. It is a great time of change as the planets move from the element of earth to the element of air and that will offer a new perspective and a new way of being.
But let’s stick with Saturn for now even though all those elements have influence over our unfolding.
Saturn is the planet with the rings around it. Before they knew about the outer planets, the ancients thought it served as the gate between heaven and earth. It is therefore seen as a guide to the Unseen World. It is a gatekeeper and a powerful teacher.
Saturn is the planet of boundaries that encourages you to develop the self-discipline that helps you achieve a level of self-mastery which in turn allows you to claim your own authority. It can be a Master Teacher for stepping into your own power.
Jupiter and Saturn are the largest and most important planets in our solar system.
As I try to make sense of the many elements of astrology I’m just working with one planet at a time to try to “own” it. I begin working with Saturn by using alliteration with the “S” of Saturn. Solitude, Self-Mastery, Self-Discipline, Self Sufficiency, Spirituality (which is about our inner world).
I look at the rings around the planet and see them as looking both within and without. A good practice for life. I am looking inward for guidance and expanding outward to share what I have discovered. Like the rings of Saturn.
I journeyed to the planet Saturn to have a chat. I asked: “I have a Saturn return on December 20 How are we to work together?”
A Wise Messenger showed up, a friendly-looking man emitting iridescent bubbles. He said, “You have begun and you are picking up the messages. Now open your heart and let us fill you with insights you are to share.
Listen. You are to learn to listen.”
That’s a good place for all of us to begin this journey to “next.”
At another point in the journey, the Circle of Light Beings showed up. The Saturn Teacher says, “Play your individual harps but learn to harmonize. Raise your vibration. Deepen your connection and play from your soul. You are developing ways to raise your vibration, ways to open the portals and raise your vibration, and make a very deep connection to the earth, Gaia. It is the etheric string, the vibrational string that I am to tune all the other strings to. It will show me a raised way of being. That is what Saturn brings – that sounding note, that foundation note that you tune all else to. Your job is to bring the elements of your life into tune with that higher vibration.
So, a foundation note is being sounded in the cosmos. We must listen and play in harmony with it.
Just start listening.
Sit each day in a quiet place and with a deep breath let go of your human awareness. Continue berthing and move more deeply into your inner world, the Unseen World. Ask, what new awareness can you share with me today? Then listen. Just listen.
OUR EVOLVING FUTURE
“The sacred act of setting the container for the intention.” That’s a phrase I came across recently. I am giving it a lot of thought as I begin to add more focused intention to my life. But as I learned more about this huge planetary shift into the Age of Aquarius on December 21, it prompted me to contemplate what kind of container I could create for this new age. For my own place and for our planetary evolvement.
I begin with myself What kind of a container am I for moving forward?
I seemed to have moved from creating large volumes of work into studying so I am in an acquiring knowledge and wisdom mode. That makes sense as this new era unfolds.
M personal plan is to explore more of the world within me and within the unseen World. That makes me very responsible for my choices and my interpretation of what I find. I do know that even though I often have an initial concept, I make plenty of room for that to change as I learn and understand more.
What kind of container will I become for this new unfolding era?
Flexible, absorbing, curious, willing to explore, and most of all I want to keep organizing what I learn – into cohesive patterns that we can all use to guide our expirations.
For now, I am in sponge mode – absorbing what shows up. Exploring it, considering it, maybe even trying it out. This is not a time for choosing for me, this is a time for exploring, to see what is showing up, what is evolving, what the new way of doing things are.
Here we go adventuring…
MESSAGE FROM THE SACRED EARTH CARDS
I drew an oracle card from my new deck of Sacred Earth Cards. I asked for a message for us to consider for the coming months I drew “Preservation.” I had also drawn this card for me personally. As I study the card I understand that we are to let go of – a lot – the year just completed, the era just completed. And we must preserve what we value, the qualities we build our life upon. We are to preserve and cultivate and expand our inner light while at the same time letting go of what no longer serves us – attitudes, beliefs, expectations. As we step into this newly forming Age of Aquarius it is a time for transformation – preserving what we cherish, leaving the rest behind.

MAKE ROOM FOR AWARE CHANGE
Between the powerful Winter Solstice marking the end of one season and the beginning of the next and the calendar end of the year and beginning of a new one, all things point to a fresh start, a new beginning. That means checking for unwanted and no longer useful beliefs and choice to leave behind.
Examen and adjust the choices you made this month.
Believe it or not, even I thought this newsletter was too long so I cut out a lot. That helped me recognize what fit my new direction and what was from the past. I left the past behind
At the core, the choice is a good one, cut back so I have more time to explore and learn. Look at the choices you considered or made this month and do some tweaking – and even some letting go. l
Leave behind “I can’t”
The biggest thing I’m going to leave behind is “I Can’t.” That sure is and was a phrase you pick up as you age. I can’t reach that, I can’t walk that far…. all are self-fulfilling affirmations that I must connote to reset. I keep going back to “Think how good it will feel when I complete…” That seems to work for me – to experience the relief I will feel when the step is taken.

As you set about to examine how you are doing, new ideas may have shown up. Explore them. Consider them. Compare them.
As I move along my new path the ease some things I will no longer write about. As I move through this transition, I have to be aware of what no longer serves this slightly new path I am on.
With each cycle, we get to made choices. We select some things to bring with us or strengthen and expand something we are already doing. I’m really good at listening to my inner wisdom. I just want to keep getting better at asking for guidance and interpreting the answers I receive.
Embrace change
As the planetary population continues to adjust in order to survive, I get to put aside pretty much the way it has been as I go exploring for how it is going to be from now on. That is going to ask for some flexibility and curiosity from all of us. If we look upon this as a new adventure, it can be just that – an adventure of discovery and new ways of doing pretty much everything.
One of my guides in a shamanic journey sad they were guiding me by putting in front of me the things I need to know for my “next” So I just trust the insights and nudges and sudden use of inspiration that pull me forward into deeper exploration.
The more I listen the more I hear.
Lighten up. Lay down your beliefs about how it should or could be and let’s go create our new way of being!
