I took a very detailed shamanic course for four months. It turns out that for me, it taught too much detail. I finished the course but I faded out at the end. It’s just how I am – not a detail person. The initial foundational work was a very positive experience. The technical detail, not so much.
However, I watched people in the course really getting totally caught up in the detail, the perfect procedure. They wanted to do it “right”.
There’s no right or wrong
There’s no right or wrong way to do anything. Results are achieved through your intention and conscious focus. Whatever results you get are perfect. However, you achieve those results is also perfect.
Are you caught up in doing it “right”?
We are wonderfully unique individuals. We are so unique that each of us does even similar things differently. And that’s perfect.
What if you just do it your way? What if you do what feels right in the moment? What if you trust your own intuition and instincts and simply hold the energetic intention of your purpose? You’ll get the desired results because of your intention.
The results are all in the intention
As a Reiki Master Teacher, Fourth Degree, I learned and taught the concept of using symbols to send and focus energy. As a licensed practitioner in the Center for Spiritual Living, I taught and practiced affirmative prayer. Now I use intention and visualization to support energetic changes in the collective consciousness.
It’s up to you. Whatever you believe is the power becomes the power.
How to use intention for healing and wholing
I’m living in an 84-year-old body that’s always looked twenty years younger than it is. However, stuff happens and I’m actively doing self-healing on myself. I’m using a variety of methods. And they’re working.
Release the past. Do an inner visioning process in which you look for and release in your imagination whatever’s in the past that is negatively affecting the situation today.
Invite in the light. In your imagination, inviting light in through your crown or your chakras. It can be any color, just let that happen. Have the energy move clockwise or counter clockwise and see which feels right for you at that time. See the energy flowing through your body cleansing, opening, healing, putting in place, releasing, clearing out, soothing, repairing, replacing whatever seems to be misaligned.
The color of the light may change. The form may be liquid or smoke. Sometimes I feel a honey-like texture moving through me. My favorite is to put myself in a cloak of light with a hood that sends healing light into all of me. It’s your imagination working on the unknown in your inner self.
Ask for help. I have an interesting circle of spirit guides, animal guides, angels, fairies and elves and the Cosmic Mother. They each serve a slightly different function and help me with my vision journeying. They seem to have different functions and step forward to help depending on my question or the energy I desire to move. Ask for your spirit guides to appear and they will.
Believe it works. Trust whatever shows up. Do whatever you feel the urge to do. Know and believe that since we’re all energy, the concentration and focus of energy will create wholeness.
Allow for a shift that makes room for change. Change is a flow, sometimes rapid, sometimes slow. But it’s always happening. Give your wholing work time to work. And look for the subtle changes that appear. If the work is on your own body, look for and listen to and feel the changes that occur, and if necessary, do more energy work to guide the situation toward the desired outcome.
Offer gratitude
We have no idea what’s ”out there”. Only 5% is in our conscious mind; 95% is unconscious. Gratitude helps you become more aware of the subtle changes that are around you. When you wake up in the morning, offer thanks to the invisible world for your safe keeping and the dreaming insights you received. At the end of each day, count your blessings and offer gratitude to the Great Mystery. As wholing occurs, continue expressing your gratitude.
Wholeness is our natural state
Encourage your own wholeness. Encourage the wholeness of others, of the planet, of communities. Do it energetically in any manner that calls to you. Intention is key. You can do your world-healing energy work alone or in “like-intentioned” groups.
