There is always a cycle of harvest, a time when a season is over, and the bounty is stored to see us through the winter. Harvest can happen any time, but it most usually comes to mind in the fall. What are you harvesting? What bounty have you produced in this last growing cycle? Were your crops nourishing and bountiful? Were they easy to grow or did you have to weed a lot? Most of all, what does your new cycle look like?
What are you harvesting?
I am putting to use knowledge I’ve gained in my life experience and over the last 20 years working on the internet. I’m setting up a new web presence that will be the foundation for a fabulous new and outstandingly productive cycle of my life. I’m using the site to curate my own work but also as a starting place for my new journey. What are you harvesting? How have you grown in the past year? How have you changed?
What will your new cycle look like?
My new Rainmaker platform allows me to set up a free membership library, post my podcasts on iTunes and create videos for YouTube. I know how to do two out of three of those, so there are great new things to learn. I’ve spent the last three weeks redefining what I want to offer on this redesigned site. I’m focusing on Self Awareness, Self-Mastery and Spiritual Expansion. Those are areas that I personally want to explore more deeply. Do you have a plan for your next cycle?
What does it take to harvest your gifts?
Setting up this new site was a process of constantly redefining my intentions and making decisions based on the choices I made. The process was also filled with technical steps I had not taken for many years. It was rough going in places, but I wanted the new site so much I simply kept pushing through. I did what I needed to do to create a safe environment for the harvest of my gifts.
Your work is important.
A few months ago, a special internet friend told me, “Your work is important. Leave none of it undone. Generations will depend on it. :)” That touched my heart and turned me away from retirement and into major productivity. I have a harvest to bring in. It is the awareness, experience and growing wisdom that I have developed into unique insights over the years. I want to share my unique take on life through articles, courses, podcasts, videos and ebooks. Somewhere at some point in time, my work will change a life. What more could I wish for?
How are you harvesting your gifts? What are you passing forward? What legacy are you leaving? What lives will you change? What harvest are you ready to bring in?
