Those of us who want the world to be different have serious work to do. We have to hold a vision others cannot see. We have to believe in potentials others cannot even imagine. We’re energy workers. We’re spiritual explorers. We’re called to focus that new vision.
Overcome the limits of your Body Suit
We have to go beyond the limitations of our human minds. We have to do the deep work, the interconnected work, the “we-are-all-one” work. We begin our work individually and then join with other like-minded explorers and visionaries to add more power.
You know you want to change. You have a vague sense of the direction you want to go. The catch is we can only vision what we can think up. So we have to let go of our minds and move with our hearts, our feelings and our urges. We have to quieten our mind, still our expectations and simply hold the space for things to change.
Begin with yourself
Expand your personal spiritual practice. Create an altar, a shelf, a space upon which you place some reminders, some tools to help you deepen your spiritual experience. I have an altar I built in a Shamanism course. It’s includes some of my large collection of crystals and artifacts I found meaningful along my path.
Expand your spiritual practice. This is not a religious practice but a spiritual one. Make it your own. Gather in whatever calls to you regardless of its origin. Increase the time spent in contemplative practice, and consciously and frequently send focused energy to the well-being and healing of our world.
Expand your knowledge
To learn to connect more deeply with nature, I took two courses in Shamanism. And as I also wanted to connect more universally with like-minded people, I took a course in subtle group activism. There are a few like-minded friends with whom I have major conversations that inspire and motivate each of us.
Listen to the inner voice
I have opened myself up to a clearer interpretation of the voice within. I now am comfortable calling it channeling. I’m clear that there’s a deeper wisdom that comes through my writing than I seem to be aware of on the physical plane.
I’m often surprised by what I write. Is that my imagination? My knowing? My guides? Call it what you will, but there’s a knowing within you that will give you guidance and answers and direction. Listen to that inner voice and learn to interpret it. Follow your feeling and your intuition to your most powerful place of service.
Be open
In my inner work I often experience huge releasing yawns. Other times I experience deep sobs of recognition as I go exploring. Your own signals will emerge. Go with what resonates. Go with what calls to you. Be open to a sudden rush of recognition and follow that.
The world is changing and we are an integral element in that change. Do the work on yourself. Be receptive to the light of other consciousness changers and follow your heart. We can change the world. We are the world. We are all that is. Let’s evolve into a whole, inclusive, empathetic state of being.
