How Vibration Heals
An Inner-World Exploration
Before there was light there was sound. In the beginning, was the word. Our core existence is vibration. Our bodies are simply denser versions of vibration.
It makes sense that the vibration of sound can be used to alter and support our physical experience.
Although we are one vibration, we are also individual and unique in our expression of that vibration. And we are responsible for how our vibration shows up. What we say and do and think will affect how our vibration expresses itself.
What does your vibration draw to you?
Think about your life. What’s working? What’s not? Those are vibrations and we have the power to change our life experience simply by chaining our vibration. We do that through our thoughts and actions. And we have total control over both of those.
What is the ambiance you are creating with your vibration? You can obtain balance by changing your vibration.
Intention magnifies and directs vibration
Intention is at the core of healing. Intention is at the core of manifestation. We need to be very aware and thoughtful of our intentions. Because whatever we put out in thoughts and words and deeds will manifest. And come back to us, for better or worse.
Set an intention for healing. Set an intention for the quality of an experience. It’s not about trying to force something into existence, it’s about directing your vibration to manifest the result you want to achieve – however it comes into being.
Interestingly enough, the intention of the person receiving the vibration is also a major factor in the result that occurs. If I hum to an imbalance in my body but don’t expect it to create change, then the chance of it happening will be diminished or maybe not happen at all.
We’re that powerful. Our thoughts are that powerful. Our intention is that powerful. It will be easier to create change in a person who believes they can change and that sound vibration can help them change than in someone who does not hold either of those beliefs. We are what we think.
What’s your intention for the experiences of your day? What’s your intention for the food you eat? What’s your intention for an interaction with another person? Intentions can be very subtle.
Listen to those hidden, unconscious intentions and choose only the positive intentions that will create a reality you want. Our thoughts and words contain the frequency of our intention.
Begin to change your vibration with the seed syllable OM (Aum)
OM (Aum) is the seed syllable of the universe. It’s a connector between everything in your body suit and the all-encompassing vibration that is everything. Just by sitting quietly and silently or vocally repeating the mantra OM, you adjust your vibration. You sooth it, you heal it, you restore it to a stronger balance. Just by toning OM.
Experiment with pitch
We are each a unique vibration, so experiment with the pitch of your toning and other vowel sounds. Begin with simply humming. Notice where it resonates in your body. Change the pitch and see where it goes.
Be your own laboratory. What is true for me may bring forth a different experience in you. Experiment to find the pitch, the vibration, the tone that brings the result you want.
Sound is used to raise your vibration
People chant and sing and tone in order to change their life experience. Sound plus intention magnifies energy.
Experiment with different types of vibration to find what’s most effective for you. Experiment with the vibrational power of sound – whether it’s drumming or singing or humming – go exploring to find what resonates with you.
Listen to the tone – how your body feels, and what emotions appear. Vibration is a direct connection to your core being.
Elongated sound is more effective
When you chant a mantra like Om, draw it out = ahhhhhh oooooooh mmmmmmm. Notice how that feels. How it resonates.
Incorporate sound vibrational balancing into your spiritual practice
Become aware of the sounds around you. Notice how they affect how you feel. What are the soothing sounds? What are the jarring sounds? Begin to choose what sounds you allow in your environment.
Notice the vibration of other people, other situations. Consciously shift your own vibration and see how it affects others.
Use vibration for self-healing. Hum or tone or sing vibrational energy into a place of imbalance and notice the gradual changes that take place.
Create a daily sound practice to raise your own vibration.
