Insights From A Deeper Song

Ashe
(“Ah-Shay”)
The Creative in me honors the Creative in you!

I am still stunned by the down-the-middle differences in the US.  I had no idea.  We have great healing to do.

That means we must all – both sides – lay down our differences and stand shoulder to shoulder in order to move forward.  We must each compromise.  We must each explore the new viewpoints.  We must each question our own core beliefs.

And find a middle ground – an inclusive path forward.

That means me, although I am very fond of my beliefs.  I don’t even have to wonder why others think the way they do, I just need to find our common ground, the path forward. The middle road.  The way we can walk along together.  It means compromise. Compromise means each side making concessions.

I have a feeling a lot of people don’t feel that way.

But I have only my life to live. My choices to make.  My beliefs to hold.  So I  blot out the consideration of division and move us all into unconditional love,  filled with the light of oneness, opening our hearts to incisiveness, and listening to each other as we thoughtfully and mindfully find a way forward – together.  A path that includes us all.

It all begins with being with knowing and accepting that we are one energy and our individual actions affect the whole.

DEEPER SONG AFFIRMATION

I make choices for the highest good of all.

DEEPER SONG PROCESS

  • Get over the idea that your ideas are right. They are right for you but probably not for the other person.
  • Listen to identify the core needs of others.
  • In a self-aware manner, look for the common ground and begin to build a partnership there.
  • Always choose for the highest good of all.

RECONSIDER YOUR BELIEFS

I was a tad smug in feeling that my way was right.  It turns out half of my country does not think so.  I am really trying to have some clue as to why those who see the world so differently than I do, believe the way they do.

We can get a little smug in our thinking.  We take comfortable, familiar positions, and move forward.  But we need to question our own beliefs and we need to make room for the beliefs of others, the needs of others.  Both sides need to move toward a center path for moving forward.

Examine your beliefs.  Are they valid?  Do they reflect the current world? If you are older, talk to a young person so see what kind of world they want and need.  Then help them build it.

UNSUBSCRIBE

With so much moving online we seem to be bombarded with summits and classes and offerings from all angles.

We have grown and changed this year.  Our interests have expanded.  We have learned a lot.  As we exam the end of this year and the flow of the year to come, this is a perfect time to unsubscribe from a few things.

If you are like me, you are begging to feel full up. So we have to establish some guidelines and set some boundaries and unsubscribe to things we have outgrown.

I have listened to enough summits to know what my primary interests are and what were just moments of curiosity.   I need to let go of the sources I will truly not pursue this coming year.

If you are not reading that post or listing to a particular podcast look to see why.  Is it something you want to explore? Or does it no longer address the path you have chosen? Is it something you had a passing interest in?  Unsubscribe.  If you are not sure, copy the URL on one document and unsubscribe for now.

This is an amazing freeing step to take to open space for the new year.

KNOW HOW YOU WORK

I may have just solved a problem that has been bothering me for a long time.  Here’s the question, would you rather take on a task you are not wild about and do it in one focused effort and get it over?  Or do you want to have it nag at you in small bits until you get it done?

Some time ago I learned that when I am faced with something I would rather put off I say to myself, “Think how good it will feel when you do (whatever it is you’ve been putting off). I keep saying it until the task is done.  (Like all the way to the trash)

But I made the mistake of parceling out house cleaning elements in the belief that it won only take 15 minutes to do…. whatever task I had decided upon.  Just as I have selected one day each week to march back and forth to the laundry room, I decided to choose a day to do whatever cleaning I need to do.  Think how good it will feel when you…

It worked.  I seem to have chosen Thursday mornings and then it’s done for the week.

How do you work?  Do you want to do a little bit every day or simply get it over in one focused effort?

Understand how you like to work and do that.

SMALL BUT PROFOUND CHANGES

It theoretically could be seen as an accident but a whole door has reopened. Aren’t surprises wonderful!

I was eating and decided to turn on some Classical Music on my TV. I had forgotten how much I love Classical music and how little of it I have listened to in the past few years.  A theme from the opera Carmen came on and I remembered as a high school student I was in the chorus of the college production of Carmen because I was taking voice lessons there. I sang along and had a great time remembering and reliving.

I have a whole new classical music habit to get into.

Was it an accident?  No, I think my helping spirits have been planning for this to happen so it is a lovely surprise.

Music is energizing.  It is a mood changer. It is inspirational.

Do you need music in your life?  Add it and see how your mood is lifted.

BRING YOURSELF TO CENTER

It only takes a moment – one deep inhale, one slow exhale, close your eye and let it all go.  That’s how you center yourself any time, anyplace.

Sprinkle centering pauses throughout our day and see what change.

***
GOALS VESUS UNFOLDING

It’s a funny thing about unfolding, you can’t rush it.  That’s the point – to give circumstances and realization time to evolve.

How do you do that?

Reflection comes to mind.  Pausing to observe. Pausing to contemplate. Pausing to consider.

Have an over-arching goal but keep it broad.  My goal is to touch people more deeply. That’s it.  I now get to simply let it unfold.  As ideas and nudges and circumstances appear, I get to try them on for size – I get to explore the ideas that resonate with me and let the others go.

How do you move forward?  Are you fluid and open and flexible?  Go exploring and let life unfold.

***
OUR EVOLVING FUTURE

As I look forward to thoughtful, intelligent, inclusive leadership in my country my relief is huge.  Our leadership lessons were painful and divisive and I’m not certain everyone recognized the danger. Many of us got to look deeply at the core beliefs of how we want to live on this planet and vote our conscience.

So much is changing in our world that we need to learn to be flexible. Fluid and flexible. The old way is gone.  We get to create new versions. We get to adjust. And any of us are.

Look closely at what core beliefs are driving you. We need to work in new ways.  We get to learn in new ways. New opportunities show up and we get to go expiring.

Let go of how it has been. That way is gone.  How do you want to contribute in this new world we are building?

Keep refining your awareness and ideas until you have established a new vision for yourself.  Then build on that.

CARA’S CORNER
88 and the Infinity Symbol

I turn 88 this week.  What a wonderful age!  I particularly love it that those eights are two infinity symbols.

The first thing I see in the symbol of infinity are the cycles of life.  How we build on our past and bring that wisdom to the future.  How we leave behind what we don’t need from the past cycles as we move into the new one. How some choices may be continuing as their impact circles both backward and forward but with different emphasis and discovery.  We live in a constant cycle of change. If I see myself as the point where the two circles converge, I pause to examine both my past and my future.  How I got here and where I would like to go. I am drawing wisdom from my past and using my presence in the moment to make choices that will draw to me the future I desire.  I am at that crossroads of the past and future, standing on what I have learned and experienced and choosing how to affect what is to come, what lies before me, by the choices I make right now, in this moment of ever-presence.

88 has two infinitive symbols  It feels like it may be an important year.

Each moment is crossroads. An opportunity to examine the choices that got us here and the opportunity to choose a next step. We build on our experience of the past and make conscious choices that affect our future.  We mindfully leave behind the past and step into our “next”.

I get philosophical about me being 88.  I see the results of all my past choices.  Some could have used more consideration but I particularly like the philosophical choices I have made. And I love how my gifts continue to develop and express themselves.

I look at what I have gathered around me in this present moment, this crossroads in the conjoined cycles.  It is the wisdom I have, the skills I have developed, and the insights I have accumulated and it is the deep friendships I have formed. All is well in my world.

As I move into the opening cycle of the year before me I feel its fullness, the easy way I now communicate with the Unseen World, the loud nudges of my Inner Voice, and the ideas I am called to explore and share with others.  I am having the best time of my life spiritually. I am doing exactly what I want to do and writing about exactly what I want to learn.  And I’m getting really good at staying centered in the present.

One of my guides in a recent shamanic journey said they were guiding me by putting in front of me the things I need to know for my “next”.  So I just trust the insights and nudges and my sudden use of intuition that pull me forward into deeper exploration.

The more I listen the more I hear.

I will sit mindfully and serenely at this crossroads of double infinite symbols with great joy and peace in my heart knowing I have traveled the road well and trusting the path that is unfolding before me to be exactly what I need to know and do next.

All is well in my world  Happy 88th birthday to me!!!

We Are One With the Whole

An Exploration of the Unseen World

As we sit here in our individual planet personas it is a bit tricky to understand, let alone feel, that we are, in fact, one very, very large vibrational energy field.  Not a piece of it, but immersed in and incorporated in the whole.

But the truth is we ARE all one energy and with that comes both the power and the responsibility of wholeness.

Like you, I am working to not just understand that but to feel it and embrace my place in the Oneness, to be responsible for my presence in the Web of Oneness.

I’m Cara Lumen, spiritual philosopher and founder of the Deeper Song Community. I am a cosmic explorer who consciously travels into the unseen world to serve as a bridge to help us expand our relationship with the spiritual world. I share what I learn and guide those who are ready to the next level so we can sing a deeper song.

Thank you for being a part of this journey.

In this episode of Reflections of a Deeper Song we’ are going to explore the concept that  We Are One With the Whole.

From here in our human form, living our restricted human lives it’s a little tricky not to feel separate. In fact, we sometimes rather pride ourselves on feeling uniquely individual. But we are all one energy and to experience ourselves as individual is like trying to separate sunbeams.  We are all one all-encompassing energy. There is no you and me. There is no us and them. We are all one, all-inclusive vibrational energy. We just can’t always experience ourselves that way.

But when we learn to accept our oneness, to experience ourselves as an important aspect of the greater whole,  our perception of our role and our responsibility changes.

To be an observer requires being a separate form.  We are not separate from Oneness. We are not  separate from our Collective Wholeness.  So how do we figure out what Oneness is and what are role is in it?

Give that some thought.

You cannot step outside of being “One” in order to see “One”.  Because we all are “One!”

How do we, from our seemingly separate vantage points, begin to experience ourselves as the Whole , The All-encompassing One Energy?

As long as we are in our body there is a tendency to experience ourselves as separate.

We are to learn see ourselves as the energy field that we are, as one all-encompassing vibration.

The we need to understand that Since we are this all-encompassing wholeness,  then we am constantly experiencing it and expressing it.

As long as we are in our human experience there is a tendency to experience ourselves as separate.

The fact is, here in our body expression we need contrast in order to understand anything.  We need black to understand white.  We need up to understand down. We need contrast. How do we begin to understand and experience everything as One?

I love being an individual. I love seeming myself as unique.  And in our human form we are unique expressions.  But when we feel unique we also feel separate. The metaphor of web of life doesn’t work for me because it makes me see myself as a separate strand.  I don’t want to feel separate.  I want to feel ONE.  I prefer the image of big part of the Cosmic Soup with my flavor adding to the well-bing of the whole.

Seeing our selves as separate makes us feel separate, makes us unable to access feelings of belonging or being included in the wholeness of, let alone being and totally merging with All-That-Is.  So the first thing we have to give up is our sense of being separate.  I only know how to do that in mediation or moments of deep contemplation the I release my awareness of my body.

As long as we are identifying ourselves as humans we need contrast in order to understand anything. We need straight in order to perceive crooked. That’s why, we, in our human-ness, think of ourselves as Yin and Yang, masculine and feminine and therefore separate ourselves from each other.  When in fact, there is a feminine in the masculine and masculine in he feminine and energy moves in a constant cycle that contains both.

The Truth is we are one all one encompassing vibration

Call it Tao, or All that Is, or the Nowhere That We Came From, it is the fundamental energy – It. Oneness.  There is no separateness.  There is no you and me, there is only One – Tao – All that Is – the Great Nothingness.  Let’s explore how we can know more about Oneness. How we can understand it.  How we can experience it.

There comes a point in most of my mediations that my awareness of my body disappears and I seem to float off to wherever I go.  Shamanic Journeying is my major mediation of choice, but I also experience that in  Transcendental Meditation which is mantra based and also disappears my body very radially. Mantras are good.  Mudras are good. Slow breathing is good. Sitting still in nature is good. Those are all methods to help you disappear your experience of being a body – a separate body.  They help you merge into the experience of ONE.

I like to use the word Tao to describe this oneness because it does not create an image for me.  It simply is a  fundamental, inclusive, non image-provoking word.

Tao refers to our all-ness,  our oneness. It is the fundamental non-body experience. When you experience Tao you are in every thing ,of everything ,You are everything.

How do we experience Tao?  How do we understand its concept? How do we feel it? How do we become it? There’s no becoming toTao.  We already are Tao.

Don’t fall into the trap of being the observer.  Be the be-er.  Be Tao. Be All-That-Is.  Just BE One.

Learn to immerse yourself in and merge with the Unseen World

I use shamanic journeying to experience myself as being in and of the Unseen World. The Unseen World is where I  begin to explore and experience the concept of one. And still, I perceive my helping spirits as physical form metaphors that have meaning to me here in my human expression.

In mediation, I can disappear my body and yet my mind is still here, one last thread holding me separate. With patience I can leave my awarenss behind and experience oneness.  I get better with practice.

I want to bring this experience of Oneness more clearly into my human experience. To help me deepen my immersion in the Field of Oneness.  I could look for similarities rather than differences. That might change how I view others. I would experience the oneness of Tao in them.

I could find my commonality with nature. Spend more time in a receptive silence just listening and feeling. I would experience the oneness of Tao then.

Staying mindful of our Oneness helps us be more present, more aware, more reflective and accepting of a moment, an action, an experience.

Perhaps being mindfully aware is as close as we, here in our body expression, can get to the Oneness of Tao. But we can keep practicing and we will get better at experiencing everything as one.

When you begin to deepen  your connection with nature – the wind, the sun, the earth, – the gradual growth of a plant, the simple celebration of life cycles thoughout the flow of nature – you begin to release your awareness of you as separate and begin to immerse yourself in oneness.

I like the world “tranquility.”   I create ways to experience tranquility. When I sit in a chair, and move deeply into  my inner experience, I begin to release all my body restrictions. I become tranquil.  It is a stillness that encompasses and embraces everything. It is All That Is.

I want to deepen that experience. I want to feel my awareness of “self”  merge with the Unseen World.  I want to experience that All-ness, that Oneness – and disappear me as a planetary presence in a body.

I can do that when I allow myself to merge with the Unseen World.

We consider this concept on One as well as we can from our human separateness.

And we can use our human-ness to merge with the Great All-ness, the Unseen World.

So we are aware that as long as we experience ourselves as confined to our bodies, we will continue to experience ourselves as separate.  We don’t want that.  We want to experience ourself as one all encompassing vibration

We are Oneness. With practice and focused choice, we can learn to experience ourselves as one.  It is from that stage of deep inner stillness that I began to feel and experience my absorption into the All.

One of the ways I explore oneness is exploring the Unseen World.  There are many ways to do that.  We do it in our dreams.  We do that in our imagination, in  mediation, in shamanic journeying.

It is said that 95% of everything is unseen.  That’s means we are relying on 5% of what exists to understand and live our ives.  We have some exploring to do.  It is up to you to find your own path to the Unseen World.

It could be the sense of disappearing into the melody of a song.  It could be total absorption in a moment in which you are totally unaware of your separate body.  Sometimes when I write, my body disappears and all tat is left are my fingers typing what is being shared through me from the Unseen World, the part of the All-ness I have set out to explore.

But I also explore the Unseen World though Shamanic journeying where we are taught that whatever image shows up is a metaphor for something only we can interpret. I have guides and helping spirits that regularly  appear, and then sometimes I experience being asked to disappear my experience as a body and float in the Void and experience whatever I experience. I am given  messages and guidance when I go exploring in the Unseen World.  I have figured out that my job is to bring back the insights I am given and figure out way to apply them in the expression of our human constrictions.  Then share them with you.

Find your own pathway to experience your essence in the Al That Is. You may lose the limitations of your body though singing or drumming or running.  You may lose your awareness of being a separate self in nature. Experiment and find your own way into the Oneness of All.

Everything is One Energy

Absorb this concept. Live this concept.  We are all ONE energy.

The vibration you put out affects the whole.  Begin there and monitor your thoughts and words and actions. Make certain they are for the highest good of all.

Begin to see yourself reflected in the actions of others and the world around you. It is you coming back to you.  The energy you put out comes right back at you. You can control what you put out.  Make more conscious choices in all you say and do and think.

Become more aware of how you hold yourself apart. Begin to see others as a reflecdtion of you.

Initiate more quiet time in which you allow your body to disappear as you move into greater connection with Tao. All That Is. The Emptiness That Holds Everything.  Disappear your body and Be present in One.

We Are One With the Whole. We ARE the wholeness.

Deeper Song Process

  • Begin to notice your tendency to see yourself as separate rather than as one.
  • Go to nature. In reflective silence let yourself experience an element of nature – a tree, a rock, the wind. Take time to lose your awareness of your body and merge with the nature element you have chosen.
  • Notice how your body gradually disappears as you connect more deeply with the nature element you have chosen.
  • As you move through your life, notice how separately you hold yourself and begin, at least mentally, to put yourself in the other person’s place, or merge with their energy or wrap that other person in loving energy that you hold out to them.
  • Interact from a position of being one energy with everything and everyone
  • Repeat frequently.

Deeper Song Affirmation

I spend time in mindful silence and feel myself fill with the presence of One. I carry that with me throughout my day.

  • I hope I brought you some new awareness, deeper ways to connect and insights and encouragement for your next steps.

How to Interpret the Messages from Nature

How to Interpret the Messages from Nature

Insights Of A Deeper Song

Ashe
(“Ah-Shay”)
The Creative in me honors the Creative in you!

When we learn to listen to the stillness we receive all manner of guidance and insights.  It begins with quieting your mind and opening your whole body as an antenna to receive the information.

Everything has energy and we can receive messages from the elements, the plants, the rocks.  The example I’m going to give is with rocks and I invite you to use some of the ideas to talk to the rocks and crystals you have around you, to your plants, a tree in your yard, and to any aspect of nature that calls to you.

Feel their energy

When I was first taught to listen to crystals 40 years ago in NYC, I was told to put the crystals in my left hand (receiving hand) and listen.  What I got was a sensation in one of my chakras and I began to use those body sensations as a starting place for interpretation.

Where the energy expresses itself in my body is still an important part of my listing to nature.

What prompted me to write this was an inner prompt that happened this week in my daily start-the-day practice.  I am surrounded by crystals.  I probe have over 150 of them.  Sometimes they call to me across the room to come participate more closely  But each morning when I sit down at my computer after playing my flutes to nature, I pick up and talk to the crystals I have currently been called to work with.

But here’s what happened because of a nudge from my inner voice.  I picked up one crystal in each hand.  Now right there is a place to experiment.  Which crystal goes in which hand.  Hold them, feel what you feel, switch hands, and feel again.  From that inner insight find out if the crystal wants to work alone or with another crystal.

Sometimes I hold a crystal wand by both ends.  I change the direction of the ends to see how the energy changes.  But here’s my latest discovery.  I held each pair up to my head to see where it resonated.  The first sent very strong energy to my eyes.  I simply sat and accepted it for a while.  The sen pair sent more energy when they were held near my crown, although I had also tried them in front of my third eye.  My body was telling me what it wanted from the rocks.

Experiment in order to hear better

Your rocks/crystals will tell you what they are for and how they want to be held and how they would like to be in proximity to you.  Experiment with your rocks and your chakras.

You might find a rock on your walk that calls to you  I got most of my crystals at expos and crystal shops.  I tried to not have my eyes do the choosing by how it looked.  I tuned into my body and listened. Pick up each rock you are considering and see where it talks to you in our body and what message it brings to you.

If you have something you want to heal, ask nature to provide you with some assistance, and then pay attention.  It could be an acorn that falls from a tree or a twig or a feather or a bird call…. listen and nature will offer you her gifts for self-healing.

This energy messaging also comes from hand-made items for the energy and intention of the craftsman are part of it.  Your house plants have messages for you.  They choose you. They wanted to be in your home.  Sit with a plant.  Touch its leaves  Listen. Ask it for guidance or for a message.  It will talk to you. You just have to listen and learn to interpret.

Whatever calls to you, listen. Listen with your inner voice.  Listen with your body.  Hold it in one hand, then the other to see what difference there is.  Put it in different places near you – left side, right side, in front, it will tell you.

Part of my morning practice is simply to look at what I have around me.  Part of that is appreciation, another part is to see who is calling to be picked up and held or who is simply sending me energy from where they are.

All of life is energy.  Rocks are wisdom keepers.  Go exploring and start talking to rocks.  They have wise insights to share with you. Learn to listen to the messages of the rocks.

DEEPER SONG AFFIRMATION
I listen more closely to nature and                                                                          experiment with different ways in which to listen.

DEEPER SONG PROCESS

  • Choose a rock or crystal or a gift someone made for you or something you are very drawn to and hold it in you your left hand.  Close our eyes and notice what sensations appear in your body. What thoughts.  How are you interpreting that energy?
  • Move the object to the other hand and see how or if the energy changes.  How are you interpreting it? Sensations?  Thoughts?  Images? Is the energy stronger in one hand than the other?
  • Put both hands on the object – use just your fingers if ir is small.  Again notice the areas in your body and use that to help you interpret the message.
  • Move the object, hold it in both hands in front of each chakra and notice what shifts, what speaks to you,.
  • Ask your rock for guidance and  see what thoughts show up
  • Trust That
  • Repeat often.

I SEE YOU.  I AM HERE

The Zula greeting Sawubona means “I see you.” One way to respond is ngikhona, which means “I am here. So shared Chris Brogan in a recent newsletter.

I see you.  Do we really pause our thoughts and beliefs to become fully present with someone?  Do we look into their eyes, feel their energy, understand their heart,  simply be present with them, understand and experience our flowing energy exchange?  Be present.  Be present for yourself.  Be present for others. Experience the flow of energy between you. Open your heart to them.  Be WITH them.

“I am here.”When we are fully present in the moment, we experience ourselves, we experience the other person, the circumstance, the subtle energy flows around us.  We have to quiet our mind, put aside our emotions and take that mindful moment, to be in our Still Point before we open ourselves up tho the flow of energy around us – energy coming to us, energy flowing  from us

I see you.

I am here.

If your life is not working – change it.  If it is not exactly how you want to be, fix it. I think what happens is that we are unaware of slowly sliding into a situation that has become toxic or that no longer serves us and the shift is so gradual we barely notice.

Make a list of what is NOT working.  It could be your health, your work, your relationships, your spiritual life – just let it flow out onto the paper.  Get angry, be sad, become aware.  Write down everything that is NOT working in our life right now.

Now focus on what IS working.  What you cherish, what nurtures you, what exists you, what makes you joyous.

Which list is longer?  You probably have some work to do.

We have tremendous control over our own life experience – we have a choice.  To do or not do.  To accept or reject.

Look at your list and make some new more aligned choices.

FIND THE SWEET SPOT – ENERGY AND WILLINGNESS

When the time is right it sure is easy to do it. This week I found a new sweet spot that suddenly makes something I’e been fretting over both doable and easy. You can’t ask for much more than that. You see, I found a sweet spot for a task I had been putting off and have been beating myself up for not doing. The answer lies in timing.

I have a few introspective sweet spots in place.  I work at my computer first thing for about 90 minutes.  Another sweet spot is that I take a shamanic journey at 12:30 or so and get very introspective.

But I actually need two new major sweet spots that are more physical in nature.

My new  “doing” sweet spot comes after an hour and a half of creating – writing something or editing something.  It is my Honor My Home moment in which I put in 15-20 minutes of cleaning or dusting or sweeping, organizing. 15 minutes. Each day.  I have been sitting. I a ready for a change in rhythm and focus. My body would love to move, my home would like some care. It all comes together as a sweet spot. Then I reward myself with breakfast and a cup of tea and The View.  I like rewards.

I see a second sweet spot forming in mid-afternoon.  I want to cook more for myself.  If I combine listing to Nichole Wallace on CSNBC with chopping up something to cook that works as a sweet spot.  And another shift from introspective focus to outer world focus.

I could use one more sweet spots. One will be a jaunt down the hall for the mail and maybe a turn up and down joining hallways at about 4:30.  Now that the weather is chaining I cold take a flute and site outside and play to nature.  I would like to do that.

I am going to add my Qi Gong practice to each day so I am looking for a sweet spot of willingness and energy in which to place it.

Where are your sweet spots?  Do you need to find some new ones?

EXPERIMENT WITH A RANGE OF OPTIONS

Short o long?  Weekly or monthly? How many classes in one offering?  How often to podcast?  Or video? or… I have a lot of things to offer, who is my target audience?

These are all questions we ask ourselves and often wrestle with. My suggestion is to experiment and see what resonates.

Here’s my suggestion.  We hack about 12 weeks left in this year.  If we explore one now idea a week, that’s 12 ideas or skills to explore.  That would certainly give us a good starting place for designing our offering in the coming year.  And it could be fun.

The first six weeks are about exploring.  I seem to be talking about online entrepreneurship here but you can translate it.  That’s six different .. what-ever to explore.  That means immerse yourself in the idea and see what it takes to go that direction.

Goole the topic you are considering building a business around and notice what comes up.  How are other people setting up their web presence? What are they offering?  How much are they charging?  What are they doing that you could translate into the ideas you are considering?

Make a list of what calls to you in an easy access document on your desktop. Keep notes on how you feel about what you find.  Fun, hard, exciting, not for me, maybe later…

You may need to learn how to host Zoom so get an account and a friend and practice until you own that skill.  Get on the many free Zoom calls to see how others are doing it.

If creating a podcast calls to you check out Pat Flynn.  I spent about 18 hours watching his free video course when I first started years ago.

Make a video and post it on YouTube so you know if it is something you want to do.  So far you have invested no money and made no choices.  You have looked at options for getting information to people.

What do you want to learn for yourself and what do you want to help others learn and do?

Normally business coaches start with who do you want to help,  but I find that making my topic be about what I want to learn more about is extremely motivating and inspiring.  Just a thought. What topic do you want to immerse yourself in for the next few years?

Experiment and see what resonates.  I can see such differences in what I have offered along the line.  My books began 20 years ago with booklets sold in my church book store.  The information is solid and the references could be updated but that was where I was in my thinking 20 years ago.  I also like short so books are not a natural fit or me.

I studied books on writing articles and learned to write posts.  That has worked for a lot of years.

I have taught courses in person and online but that is not calling to me now.

I made a few talking head videos (just a head talking) and was not drawn to them. Others love to do them.

Returning to podcasts has added a degree of intimacy to my communication that wiring alone does not have. It is very rewarding to do them now.

So sometimes your progression of choices will need to take some time and at other times you may know immediately what format you are to use and even what you will offer.

Use these 12 weeks as a tine of exploration to understand what calls to you – both in format and in topic.  Try some formats out on some friends.  Once you decide you are going to start making online offers the ideas will start lining up until you will be hard-pressed to choose.

What new aspect of your business will you begin in 2021?

SEEK BALANCE

Know when you are full up and don’t do more. I got so excited at the Shift Network Qi Gong practice that I selected 18 people to listen to. I listened to 15.   It was wonderful and I am tired but I am also inspired to restrict my I Gong practice. You have to get real about your energy and your time and choose accordingly.

What do you want to learn?  Wh two you want to share?  What do you want in your spiritual practice?  When do you connect with your friends?

It’s OK to lean a little heavier in one direction for a while but each month stop and seek balance. Do you need more rest, more play, more conversations, more mental stimulation?  What do you need in the next four weeks  Chose that.  Do that.  And let the rest fall by the wayside for those four weeks.

You must have balance in order to stay healthy.  Enough rest, enough food,, enough downtime, enough mental stimulation… That sounds like a busy week and there is no “work” in it – no have-to’s that you have chosen as your way to make a living. It’s important that you love what you do because it takes a large amount of your time.

Know what calls to you and select that.  Let the rest float on by to be explored another time.  Find balance.

LISTEN TO YOUR INNER SELF

The Native flute has no wrong notes so it is a  fabulous form of self-express yourself.  Each morning before sitting at my desk, I sit facing nature outside my window and play.

I have watched my inner music mature, first with my innate ability to drum, particularly on the djembe which called to me greatly.  I figure I have a drumming ancestor somewhere.

Sometimes my flute playing sounds like an Irish jig.  Another ancestor I think.

One day this week as I played without any plan I realized how happy I was.  My playing reflected cheerfulness, willingness, expectation.  It was a good way to be.

What subtle ways do you listen to yourself?  Humming is good.  Hum whatever shows up.  Direct your hums to specific places and circumstances for healing.  You can make a drum out of a plastic container, or a rattle out of popcorn in an empty glass jar.  Then sit and let your inner self start expressing herself/himself through sound.  Sing if you like, tone if you like.

I love the Native flute because I am not trying to play a specific tune, and whatever I pay is perfect.  But I do find myself playing lively rhythms. I find one note sequence and I repeat it but I don’t try to remember it, I just experience the moment.

I have made up songs for the ritual drumming I do with the Buffalo drum I made 40 years ago.  I drum to the elements and the directions and over time songs appeared.  it makes a lovely ceremony.

Take time to express our inner self through sound.

OUR EVOLVING FUTURE

We have to let go of the way it was because it’s not going to be that way again.  And that can be scary. And exciting.  And challenging.  It’s time to be creative and innovative and look for entirely new ways to provide a shrive or a product.

Put on your creative hat and go exploring.  Be open to the oddest of ideas.  Who knows?

CARA’S CORNER

Qi Gong can be done at any age and it strengthens and brings chi energy to body, mind, and spirit.

After listening to 14 different speakers on the Qi Gong summit on the Shift Network, I know that I really want to resume my practice  It is good for energy, balance and spiritual expansion. It is slow moves that gradually shift your weight and the direction you face while establishing a breathing pattern that brings it all into balance.  As an old lady I really, really, really need to put this back into my life.

Breath and breathing is a foundational aspect of Qi Gong.

In the very first talk the teacher taught a Qi Gong sequence that I can easily do, but the part that I helped me learn it was the images and intentions he put with each move.  Gathering in, pushing away.  With those visuals, it was easy to learn. I was hooked – again.  I can do it as an old person.  I can practice it with no equipment  I can practice inside or out.  And the health benefits are enormous.

It is taught that the breath is at the core of all of these healing and strengthening movements that strengthen breath, muscles, immunity, and spirituality.  The suggestion is 20-30 minutes at a time, two or three times a week.  You can do it inside or out.

Breath is a cornerstone and with another speaker, I learned a way to expand my Tan Tien though breathing.

One ay I “accidentally” got on a talk I had not planned on attending. And the message I took away was to tune into your own body for a series of moves and intentions that open up the flow of Chi breathing and put that in harmony with your body and your soul.

I learned from Daisy Lee the Radiant Qi Gong Practdice on the Shift Network.  I’m going to review both courses I took. and put Qi Gong firmly back in m life!

Dance With the Harmonies Within

Dance With the Harmonies Within

Insights Of A Deeper Song

Ashe
(“Ah-Shay”)
The Creative in me honors the Creative in you!

In stillness you will hear it.  In nature, you will be aware of it.  Your intuition is one of its voices. We each have harmonies within us, and we are each to play our own tune to those harmonies.

But first we listen.

Wha is the rhythm of your day? If you have control over the rhythm, what do you want it to be – how fast, how slow, how stimulating, how restful?  We get to choose our rhythm and we use our inner voice to hear the harmonies within us and respond to them.

There is structure in the harmonies we hear within.  There is a beginning, a middle  and an end. There is a crescendo and a decrescendo.  There is phasing with alternating soft notes and bright notes, fast notes and slow notes. We have but to listen and we will be able to dance to our inner harmony.

We are to find our own balance. We cannot dance jigs all day, and we need to cultivate moments of stillness, of awareness, of inner peace.  We need balance in our inner rhythms.

We are to write our own composition each day.   We are to compose our own score and we are to perform our unique composition.

How do you choose the tone for tour day?  Do you wake up with time to luxuriate in preparing your body for its day, time to meditate, or move your body in gratitude for its strength?  Perhaps you put those experiences later in your day.  Where you put them is not as important as that you do indeed find time for these rhythms of self-care – the inner and the outer.

Breath sets the tone, the rhythm, the mood.  It is a way to find stillness and centeredness in a given moment. Get in the habit of taking several conscious, centering breaths after completing a task and before tuning to a new one.  Perhaps identify specific times during your day when you tun and look out the window at be with nature, even if all you can see is a little sky and a wandering cloud.   Take a moment to be that cloud, floating carefree in space.  Perhaps pause for a mindful stretching of your body to remind it of its strength and power and flexibility.  We get to sprinkle these moments of centering throughout your day.  Where are you putting your moments of serenity,  your moments of awareness, a pause to honor your body?  Each moment spent on self-centering creates more balance in all other areas of your day.  Begin with breathing. Use mindful breathing to find stillness. Then see what is suggested from that quiet place.

Pay attention to what you are to leave out, what you need to add, and notice how replenishing the steps you do take are. Adjust as desired.

It takes only a moment of stillness to open the door to the new awareness.  Choose those moments often and see how differently your day unfolds.

We begin with our senses in mindful stillness.  What do you want your day to feel like, to look like?  What are those experiences for you?  I want today to be a series of flowing and southing energies that leave in their wake great productivity of enormously unique quality. You know, start with the simple stuff.

Move into stillness. After I capture that first draft I can move into stillness. After reading my email I can pause to breathe and center myself for my day.  I can pause and tune into my inner self and see what calls to me to do next.   When I leave my desk for a break I thank my inner self for its creativity and guidance and for encouraging me to be ready for the next cycle of movement and choice.

Listen to what you are given, what thoughts, what ideas what new circumstances.  Contemplate them, observe them, adjust them, and see where and how and if you want to add any of them to your day.

I am going to add more still points in m day, each time I sit at my desk I will pause to ask my inner voice what I am to do next.   Each time I stop what I am doing, I offer gratitude for what has unfolded so far.  I just sit and listen and receive and then I act.  That’s how I listen to my inner voice. That’s how I listen to the Harmonies within.  That’s how I dance my inner calling.  I move to my still point and listen.

In a shamanic journey, my guide said, “ Listen within. Listen to the harmonies within, the structure within, the balance within.  And write your own musical score. Rehearse it, strengthen it  Perform it.”

DEEPER SONG AFFIRMATION

I consciously take moments to move within during my day and make choices from the wisdom and insights it offers.

DEEPER SONG PROCESS

  • Notice the moments of stillness you have created in our day.
  • Notice how you feel when you move into that stillness with a deeper awareness.
  • Add moments of purposeful contemplation to find our point of stillness.  Let everything else be laid aside.  Simply be.  Go where your inner voice takes you.
  • Pause for moments of thoughtful awareness throughout your day.

Inner Work

DEEPEN YOUR RELATIONSHIP WITH FOOD

I’ve been a vegetarian for 40 years and a vegan for 8.  I know to give thanks for the people who grow the food and the people who brought it to me, but I’m going to add another ritual to my meal preparation – a ritual of asking permission.

The Indian cultures know to bless the spirit of the animal that gives its life for their food and shelter.  I don’t know for certain, but I imagine they blessed a tree before they cut it down for a fire or a structure. They are very attuned to the voices of nature. I have often thought about the spirit of a plant. I know they heal us.  I know they are willing to be made into other things like a tree becomes a house and a branch becomes a native flute. But I have never created a ritual around consuming a living plant in order to simply nourish myself.

I’m not even certain what it wold look like, but I like the idea.

It is about transforming energy so I might thank my carrot or my tomato for its willingness to transform its energy into my energy and perhaps share with it what we will do together.  Food wants to be useful too.

I’m going to make some potato soup today.  I will thank the potato and the onions and whatever else I put into it and perhaps even tell them the plans I have for the energy we create together.

How will you honor the food you eat?

CHOOSE TO CHANGE

We have an outstanding opportunity in this changing environment to reposition ourselves.  Who do you want to serve?  What do they need that you can offer?  How effective is this choice?

Who do you want to serve?

Do you want beginner or advanced?  That’s a huge first choice.  I want to move pro-active, curious, evolved people forward so we both travel together. Do you want to work with people who are struggling, or people at a timing point to success, or help successful people fly higher?  What do you want to help people do?

What do they need that you can offer?

I personally want to keep exploring the Unseen World so that’s what I want to share. I have written a lot of posts and podcasts on personal growth concepts so I have begun a curation segment in this newsletter to support that part of our journey.  And I have to keep an eye on the changing world and see what I need to address there.

How can you help? What do they need what do you want to provide?

How effective is this choice?

We also want to earn money in all this.  So part of our decision for the kind of change we will make, is how it provides the basics we need.  How has your idea of “basics” changed right now?

Go exploring

As we deal with this evolving change, new businesses are goiter to appear.  Some businesses are going to no longer exist.  As New  York Governor Andrew Como said, “Think outside the box. There is no box.”

What would your like your world to look like?  How do you see your role?

But most of all, who do you want to serve? Begin there.

TRAVELER

By Antonio Machado

TRAVELER – Video

Traveler, your footsteps are the road

There is nothing more.

Traveler there is no road

The road is made by walking.

Walking makes the road.

And if you turn around you only see the path you can never walk again.

Traveler, there is no road, only a trace of foam upon the sea.

Shared by Deeper Song Community Member Mary Elaine Kiener, RN, PhD

As a person with a lot of footsteps behind her, this poem made me cry.  We have only this moment and this one.  This is where we live, not back there, or in what’s ahead. The past is dissolving behind us and we have only to choose our next step.

Step with awarenss.  Step with purity of choice.  That next step is what matters most.  It becomes your path.

WHEN THE TIMING IS RIGHT

When the student is ready, the teacher appears.  Trust that.  Look around at what is showing up and see if it is for you.  If it is the right time for you to explore that particular direction.

Exploring is a key step to moving forwards and it has to go hand in hand with discernment.  Does this really call to you?  Does this call deeply enough to you?  DO I already have enough knowledge on that particular subject?

I mentioned that last year I thought sound healing was going to be an emphasis for me.  It’s not, it is only a part of what I do now.   Trust the evolution of your interest. Study what calls to you and periodically pause to see where that path has led you and see if it is still going the dire ion you want to go.

And look for your next teacher.  She/he is ready when you are ready.

FIND THE SOURCE OF THE PROBLEM

The copy for the class said, “Tight hamstrings and weak hip flexors are the cause of many people’s lower back problems and body stiffness, but it’s also the area that many people overlook when stretching.”

I realized that for all the fussing I’ve been doing about my posture, I had not focused on the core weakness.  It changed my approach to correcting my posture.

What is out of balance in your life or your body?  What is the cause of your imbalance? It is not going to be the obvious, it’s going to call for deeper exploration.

I actually know where the hip flexors and hamstrings are.  They play a strong roll in the mobility of your hips.  I’m not going to take this class because it calls for a mat and I can barely do bed yoga, but I will go exploring and find moves I can do.

Give change time to manifest.  This course also called for 15 minutes a day fo exercise.  That undoubtedly means warm-up and challenge and cool down.  It’s the ask-more-of-your body part that I need to do better at doing.

Strengthen your foundation.  Strengthen your core.  Whether it is your body or a skill set you need for your work, get better at it.  Keep learning, keep practicing, keep challenging yourself.

THOROUGHLY PLEASING

In Chris Brogan’s newsletter, he wrote, “Imagine thoroughly pleasing several hundred people. Or a thousand. And that being enough.”

I really like the idea of “thoroughly pleasing” a few hundred people.  I feel I am doing that and that allows me to take you on an ever-deepening journey.  I get to listen and respond to you and let newcomers come in as they are called to a particular aspect.

“Thoroughly pleasing.”   That means shining light on your path that helps you see all the possibilities. It means offering you tools that make the journey easier.  It means exploring various side roads and reporting back in case you too are interested.  It means that whatever I offer enriches your life experience and offers you insights that raise your sights and their expectations.

“And let that be enough.”

That shifts my focus.  Rather than focusing on the task of drawing more people in, I get to focus on where I  am guiding the people who have found me.  It makes me feel content and joyous that I am touching the lives I am meant to in a meaningful way.

How are you “thoroughly pleasing” the people you serve?

DO THE NEXT RIGHT THING

When you come up against a stuck place, stop, take a deep breath, and do the next right things.

What are your choices?   What are you to do?  Not what looks like will happen, but what is present, in front of you rings now.  Do you leave? Do you stay?  Do you let go?  Do you draw it closer? Do you simply go within and wait until an answer appears?

What is the next right thing for you to do?

YOUR PANDEMIC HOBBY

What are you doing with all this time you now have? Or this rearranged time you now have?  Do you have a new hobby? Are you following a longed-for passion?

My passion is not cooking but I am working on upgrading how I feed myself.

I am improving my mind by continuing to get better at editing in GarageBand.

I am nurturing my inner self in many ways – my flutes in particular.

I could read some of those books that await me.  I could learn to use my phone better and my tablet.  I could sketch my journeys more often.

What do you want to learn? It doesn’t make any difference what the outcome is, learning is the fun part.

Is there some hobby you want to share with those you live with?  Build a bird house and paint it. Learn to knit. Or crochet. Or bake. Or can.  It doesn’t have to be practical, it just has to be about learning something new.

I’m glad I can entertain myself with my mind. We have stellar times together.

What new skills do you want to develop? I remember watching about 20 hours of tutorial on creating a podcast by Pat Flynn. (He still offers it)  I recently watched videos on editing in GarageBand and chair exercises for hip flexors.  I could learn to listen to an audiobook. I’m very much a visual learner but maybe I could actually listen to a fictional story for a change.  That would be novel.

I have over 150 crystals that would all love to talk to me individually.  I want to create some new patterns around cleaning and exercising.  And reaching my point of stillness, and connecting with nature and…

How are you entertaining yourself with this new pattern of time?

IS YOUR WORK MEANINGFUL?

Or is it just a paycheck?  Whatever your work, it needs to nurture you and nourish you and motivate you and inspire you and give you a sense of accomplishment when it is complete.

Don’t settle.  I moved to New  York with what I thought was an intention to pursue theater. That meant I did temp work so in case I got acting work, I could leave.  Boy was that about settling.  I could type 80 words a minute (that’s fast) but all I was doing was copying someone else’s work.  No, it was not satisfying.  It was not until I begin to learn energy work like Reiki that my life took on great meaning, regardless of how I brought in the income.

Follow your heart. This is an incredible, and very challenging time to find the work of your heart.

What will you do to make your work more meaningful?

OUR EVOLVING FUTURE

Use what you have. Because this is senior housing we have access to a food bank delivery once a month.  We never know what will be delivered. I get big bags of apples and potatoes and onions.  I have to get creative on how I use them.

I am going to make soups and freeze them. I am going to make chop up vegetable combinations for stir-fries and freeze those.  That means that I have to spend some time chopping and freezing but I will be able to use it all.

So here’s what I am learning.  Applesauce can be made with three ingredients in 25 minutes and it can be frozen!!!!  All I have to do is spend an hour chopping up this with bag of apples and I’m set.

The point is that when you take time to get creative and put in  little time you will save a LOT of money.

Explore your seasonings and cook with what appeals to you.  Chop and freeze so you have a good selection.

***

KEEP PRACTICING

One thing about practicing, you get better at what you are doing.  In one day, this week, I recored two podcasts and edited one.  I would have edited two but I hit some button I should not have in Garage Band and had to go study some tutorials. It thankfully self-corrected when I opened up garage Band a second time.  However,  I have no clue what to do if it happens again beause I have no idea what I did to cause it.  I’ll just be more careful when I set it up and push only the buttons I know.

The sense of accomplishment was huge.  I am ahead of my scheduled.  That takes some pressure off.  So I will keep planing on doubling up on recording and editing.

I recored better so the editing is easier.  As the speaker I have learned to make a clear pause around a mistake because as an editor, space gives me room to edit.

Be patient with yourself but keep on practicing.  It does get easier – and easier.

DEEPEN YOUR SPIRITUAL PRACTICE

The Yoga practice of alternate nostril breathing (Nadi Shodhana) offers instant centering and calmness.

  • Sit up straight, eyes closed, and close your right nostril with your right thumb.
  • Slowly inhale through your left nostril.
  • Close your left nostril with your ring finger and briefly pause.
  • Open your right nostril, and release your breath slowly through the right side.
  • Pause at the bottom of the exhale and then repeat on the right side.
  • Alternate this breathing pattern, 5-10 cycles.

-Tao Te Ching, Stephen Mitchell @quotes

“Shapes events as they come” is an interesting way to live.  It’s about allowing life to unfold, opportunities to present themselves for options, and a deep trust that whatever shows up is exactly right. Can you step aside and let life unfold?

CARA’S CORNER

Nurture Stillness in Your life

“Nurture” means “to care for, to encourage growth.” How do nurture stillness in our life?

How do you experience stillness?

You stop what you are doing.  You quiet your mind, perhaps with long long slow breaths and you turn and look out at nature.  And emerge yourself in that ebb and flow that is at the core of everything.

Stillness is about being still but it can also be a moment to change your rhythm.  For instance, I often stop to play my flutes.  Their vibration centers me.  I look out the window and play to the branches of my birch treen dancing in the wind.

I may take a shamanic journey to listen more closely to my voice within.

Lately, I have learned to go deeper.  It has come with practice and a willingness to let go of what I am doing and what I am thinking.  In particular, for me, it means to quiet my mind.

I use a series of quieting conscious beaches.  Focusing on my breath quiets my mind and my body.

The secret is to do a centering process often during your day. Sometimes that means a change in activities, sometimes it means the prompt is the hands on the clock. The catch is to remember to do it – to pause, to notice where you are, and to connect with our place in nature.

I plan to get better at this. I keep looking for reminders. I keep experimenting with how to achieve that inner stillness.

Stop now and breathe in to the court of 5, hold for a count of 5 and exhale for a count of five.  Repeat 3-5 times until you have stilled your awareness of the world and are firmly centered in stillness.

What Do You Need to Leave Behind?

What Do You Need to Leave Behind?

An Exploration of the Unseen World

We are  Transcendent Leaders in the New Consciousness that is unfolding.  What that looks like is emerging. It is up to us to stay aware, keep watching the unfolding patterns and find our new place of service   We can do that.  Ans it will be very, very, very rewarding.

To move ahead we have to lay down the beliefs and ideas that no longer are needed or even make sense int this unfolding new world and we get to reexamine even our most subtle of gifts.

How do we know that to keep?  What to discard?

In this dramatically changing world, we have to rethink many of our choices.  What do you need to leave behind in order to move forward?

Cara Lumen, spiritual philosopher and Founder of the Deeper Song Community is a cosmic explorer who consciously travels into the unseen world to serve as a bridge to help us expand our relationship with the spiritual world. What Do You Need to Leave Behind?

An Exploration of the Unseen World

In order to move forward, we have to leave some things behind. If we don’t, the load will be too heavy.

The changes taking place in our lives are so dramatic it’s as if we’ve been transported to another world. A world where the rules have changed and the opportunities have changed.

It is clear that life will never be the same.  So what does that mean we need to do – to adjust, to prepare, to be ready for this new Next?

I have some ideas and the first thing to do is to lighten our load by leaving some things behind – like expectations and beliefs.

Welcome to Reflections of a Deeper Song.  I’m Cara Lumen, Founder of the Deeper Song Community and I’m here to take you on Adventures into the Unseen World.

Reflections of a Deeper Song helps us:

  • Expand our relationship with our inner world and learn to interpret its powerful guidance.
  • Raise the frequency of our vibration so we can be of greater service to the planet
  • Expand our role as Transcendent Leaders in the New Consciousness.

Thank you for being part of this journey.

You know – easy stuff…

The question asked in this episode is  What Do You Need to Leave Behind?

I was on a shamanic journey  – which is my favorite form of meditation.  I had asked for clarity and guidance about the New Consciousness that was emerging.  What did it mean?  What would change? What did I need to do?

The main message was made very clear – we are all one world.  One planet.  No countries, no races, no separation. One planet – all the same energy. That is the major lesson. We are are a Whole World Community, We all have some work to do there.

But the image that struck me most was that of all of us on the path stopped and began to lay down our differences on the path beside us with the intention of leaving them behind.  We put down our beliefs, our culture, our expectations. We did it with gratitude but with a strong decision to leave them behind.

After we laid down these burdens,  we turned and begin to walk the path forward together, shoulder to shoulder – in unity.

All of us – moving forward together – as One.

How do we do that?  How do we make that happen?

There are three things I see to do now:

1 – Put down what no longer serves us

2 – Look at even the most subtle of our gifts and begin to cultivate them

3- Look closely at what is unfolding and find our new place of service.

You know – easy stuff…

The first step is to lay down our differences, to put down what no longer serves us.

1 – Put down what no longer serves us

Not all of us can do this.  Not all of us are self-aware enough to identify our stuck places – the beliefs that no longer serve us and the beliefs that are no longer true in this unfolding New Consciousness.  We have to put down sooooo much stuff. Some of our beliefs and habits are deeply engrained and we have to work to weed them out.  We may not even know a prejudice is there until we really look. But we must look closely and deeply and leave behind what no longer serves us.

Begin by examining your beliefs.  If you are like me you may have beliefs about circumstances and people you actually have no experience with.  Listen to the stories and needs and circumstances of people from other countries and expand your awareness of what ONE World actually looks like.  What it is.  What it can be.

We have beliefs from our parents, our schooling, our experiences both good and bad. And we make a lot of assumptions about what we do not know. Know where your beliefs came from and question every single one of them.  See what you can leave behind.  What is not true.  What no longer serves you.

Put it beside the path an move forward with a lighter load.

So we have lightened our land by putting down the beliefs and even the traditions that no longer serves us

What are we bringing forward with us.  We get to look at even the most subtle of our gifts and begin to cultivate them

Our world is changing. It is changing dramatically and it is changing forever. We are being asked to question every choice, explore the unfolding opportunities and adjust – a lot.

How we live in our world and interact in it is in the process of changing.  And we have to stay flexible and creative and aware.

Let’s begin by looking at the gifts were born with. Some gifts have been developed, some not. Look at even the most subtle of your gifts and begin to expire and cultivate them for potential creative use.

It is time to question everything.  Are you doing work you love or is there something else you have always loved to do? What gifts do you take for granted that are now both useful and in demand? You may have been doing work that will no longer e needed or the form will have so drastically that you don’t want to do it.  Then what do you do?

You turn and open a new door.

You have been given many, many  gifts, some of which you may have even forgotten.  Take a personal inventory.  Look for skills and passion and interests you have that may be of value in the New Consciousness we are weaving.

For instance, I write, but I’m also a good organizer.  I see the overview easily so I am a good teacher.  I’m also 87 so it’s a good thing I can use the internet.

Understand your role and cultivate new ways to expand it. In 2015 – 2016 I recorded 47 podcasts over two years.  This is 2020. Four years later.  What made me begin again?  Because the times have changed, the need has changed.  I have changed.  It is time to change.

I’m going to keep writing posts and my newsletter, but this is how I want to help those of us walking along this path to the Unseen World.

Look at how you need to repurpose your gift. Or resurrect one.

Filter through what you have, look for where it is needed, and see what you have to offer.  There are new opportunities unfolding every day.

So we know to put down what no longer serves us and look at even the most subtle of our gifts and begin to cultivate them. Now it is time to look at what is unfolding and find our new place of service.

If you look closely at science and technology you will see remarkable new ideas and opportunities and solutions emerging to save our planet and create new ways of living and doing.  That means we, as explorers and expanders of our new world consciousness, have to be flexible and open and curious and willing to explore.

Look closely at what is unfolding.  Look closely at the new developments in science.  They can make houses out of 3D printing!  That’s a game-changer.  Artificial Intelligence goes beyond anything we have yet imagined and can take over the mundane sorting and comparing tasks as starters.  As working environments evolve for more remote workers a new set of needs and opportunities evolves and emerges.  New skills will need to be developed. And our expectations will change because everything is changing.

Watch the changes. Look for the new needs that are emerging. Look at the new opportunities that are unfolding.  Be aware of what services will disappear.

Examine your own gifts and passion.  Look for what will be needed and find your new place of service.  You may be surprised at what shows up.  Perhaps you even get to develop new skill sets that never existed before.

Recognize and value your must mundane gifts.  If I can’t do it and you can – your skill becomes valuable to me.

I also think we will begin to barter so notice what skills you take for granted because they are easy and understand that you could barter with them. Like you build and I cook.  I imagine it and you make it happen.

But most of all, look for the unexpected idea, the idea that seems to pop in from nowhere. That is your inner voice, your inner wisdom, guiding you.  Listen.  Explore that idea.  Test it out.  And see if that unexpected and odd idea is not so crazy after all and is actually yours to explore and develop and make happen. Trust your inner wisdom. Listen to your inner voice.

If you can, stay above the fray.  Keep looking at the overarching trend.  Look for what is evolving as a need and the solutions that are emerging and see where you might fit in.

As we move into this New Consciousness  this new World experience, we’re goiter to consciously and willingly leave behind beliefs and expectations that no longer serve us

We’re gotten to reevaluate our gifts, even the most subtle and see how they can be repurposed in this New Censuses. At what point do we look for and identify our new place of service.

But here’s our NEXT.  We are  Transcendent Leaders in the New Consciousness that is unfolding. What that looks like is only in glimmer form. It is up to us to stay aware, keep watching the unfolding patterns and find our new place of service   We can do that.  Ans it will be very, very, very rewarding.

Stand in the light with your gifts and prepare to step format into your new role.

As with all change, stay open, be flexible, and test out ideas to see what call s to you.

We are building a New Consigns. We are Transcendent Leaders and our job is to light the way.

Think on that and see where it leads you.

Deeper Song Process

  • Take stock of the beliefs and expectations that you are carrying around with you and see what you can put down, what will no longer be needed in the new Consciousness we are creating.
  • Look at what is left.  What you value. What you can now see that you haven’t noticed for a long time.
  • See how you are to repurpose yourself for the New World experience that is emerging.
  • Do that.
