Raise Your Consciousness
Creating Conscious Connection
Ashe
(“Ah-Shay”)
The Creative in me honors the Creative in you!
What is our role? How do we help? We each have our own expression of self from which to participate in elevating the changes that are going on in the world. It’s not just about intention. We each have a role.
What do we do with our intention, with our insights, with our understanding, with our focus, with our deeds? How do we serve in the world to raise the collective consciousness?
We can change by changing our focus, by changing our beliefs, and we can change by making choices that continue to align with what we see as our higher purpose. We will serve at different levels. Some people will do the hands-on work. Others will do the introspective, intentional work. I’m one of the latter. I haven’t exactly decided what to do with my role. I can do visualization work, I can journey to the future and ask for guidance, I can send positive energy to all of those who are working to become more aware of their own higher vibration. I can write about it. I can talk about it. I have no idea whose life I might change or how I might change it. I keep listening to my inner voice, my cosmic guidance and move forward from there. My role evolves with insights from my own introspection.
Introspection is a good place to begin to raise your consciousness. What do you believe is possible? What do you see as your role? What new roles are opening up that you are to consider and perhaps explore? Know your most effective place of service. Know what you can and cannot do and know what you are and are not to do. Listen to your inner voice.
A long time ago I understood that my role was to work with people who were already flying high and whatever I added to their awareness helped them fly higher and reach more people. That’s who I serve. Who do you serve?
Don’t let the evolving drama pull you off course. This is a time of perpetual change. But it is not a time of giving up. It is the time of repositioning. It is the time of exploring totally new possibilities. And it is the time for making new, conscious, aware choices that elevate the world around us, the world we live in and a time to make choices that elevate our own life experience.
A great deal of movement comes when we examine what we believe is possible. That’s interesting because there are so many unexpected and innovative discoveries and inventions that are opening up pathways we never knew existed because we were not aware of their existence until now. So much more is possible today than it was yesterday.
So we explore. We try on new choices to see how they feel. We take exploratory forays down the various new pathways that show up and we see what resonates and what is possible. I think we have to stay in exploration mode for quite a while because the change is going to continue to be rapid and dramatic. So don’t picture yourself tucking into your corner of the world quite yet. Picture yourself in a test kitchen tasting all the dishes that are being prepared. To see how you like them. To see what extra flavoring or seasoning should be added. And what should be served on the main menu.
Notice the level of excitement you feel as a new opportunity shows up. It may suddenly feel so in line with all you’ve done in your life that you know this is the right path for now. Or it may feel like you are to explore a bit and take parts and pieces from that path with you on your journey. For certain, this is a time of exploration and choice. What choices are you making to raise your consciousness?
DEEPER SONG AFFIRMATION
I explore the many possibilities that are unfolding around me.
DEEPER SONG PROCESS
- Pay attention to your inner voice and how it responds to all the new possibilities that are currently showing up. It may be a momentary excitement or it may be deep joy at having found a new path to explore.
- Explore the idea. Explore the possibility, the potential, and see where or if you would like it in your life.
- Then do that.

The Field of Opportunity
An Exploration of the Unseen World
It was like standing in a garden so filled with organic goodness that I was hard pressed to choose. This was the Field of Opportunity and I had come here seeking my future.
Where was I being called? What did I want to do? Had I explored all the opportunities that were being offered? Was I ready for my next step?
My inner voice said, “Be present in the moment and it will be revealed.”
So I stood in my Field of Opportunity and looked at all the possibilities that surrounded me.

===INNER WORK===
Redefine Your Place and Depth of Service
Identify a few words that explain how you see your role in the world. One of my phrases is “Spiritual Philosopher.” But over time, I have come to know it is not only who I want to be but who I am.
Define yourself beyond your role of parent or spouse or good worker or…
I consider myself an Explorer of the Unseen World. I know what my role looks like on the physical plane – that I write newsletters and record podcasts. But what we are looking for is an over-arching description that raises your sights and your expectations of who you are and who you are becoming. I might consider myself a way-shower, guide, an adventurer, a light being. You get the idea. How do you label yourself and is it a broad enough label? Choose a role that demands that you grow into it.
Do You Go With the Flow?
I have never surfed but as I watch people who do, they skillfully go with the flow. They have to adjust their weight and their position of the board and the direction they are going in order to catch a wave in a certain way so it will carry them forward toward shore. It’s a lesson we need to learn as we move through our lives. We have to become aware of the ebb and flow of the various cycles of our life that are both ongoing and intertwined. So we each have to become aware of where we are on each cycle and what cycle is predominant and is offering urgent choices for the present. There’s a constant sense of being aware of the unfolding situation and a constant awareness of choices to be made in order to get the best “ride” in life. Listen to your inner voice. Be observant of the results of your actions. And constantly reconsider your options. That will help you go with the flow and have a great life journey.
===OUTER WORK===
Does Your Work Make Your Heart Sing?
Your life work is made up of the things you choose to do
that allow you to express your intelligence, passion, and creativity in accordance with your values, and experience the profound joy of simply being yourself. Unlike traditional work, which may demand more of you than you are willing to give, life’s work demands nothing but your intention and passion for that work.
To identify your life work, you must consider your interests in the present and the passions that moved you in the past. Or there may be a passion you have yet to unfold. If you don’t know where to begin, as your search for purpose, take stock of your strengths, passions, beliefs, and values in your daily meditation.
Ask the universe to clarify your life’s work by providing signs. Then be sure to pay attention.
Since life’s journey is one of evolution, you may need to redefine your direction on multiple occasions throughout your lifetime. Do what makes your heart sing. Be open. Be flexible. Be aware. And most of all, be open to change.
An Absence of Striving
What would it feel like to give up all striving and simply be? Feel that stillness. No striving. Simply being present. I hear more when I quiet my mind. I feel more when I quiet my breath. I go within to my Still Point and listen and experience and simply be.
There is no staving, no efforting, no concerns. I exist in simple being-ness.
I will go to my Still Point more often during my days and deepen my sense of tranquility.
Know When You are Full Up
It was tempting. The leader of the class is someone I respect and want to learn from. But I am full up. Full up of learning. Full up at one more step to take. Full of the things I’ve given myself to do. We do this to ourselves. We fill our life, our space, our time and our thoughts all by ourselves. So periodically we need to clean house to stop and sit on the front porch, rock in the swing and listen to the birds singing and the wind blowing. Are you full up? What do you need to let go of? Do that today.
===DEEPEN YOUR SPIRITUAL PRACTICE===
Keep Your Spiritual Practice Fluid
It is very easy to get caught up in routine – even the routine of a spiritual practice. How can you keep your spiritual practice vital and relevant?
Know when to stop doing something. I love my Oracle Cards but it is also time to not do them so often. I have a variety of spiritual practices I can add or modify or adapt. The trick is to make it a choice that is relevant in the moment of the choosing.
Pay attention to your inner voice, your inner nudges, and act upon them. I like to play my native flutes to nature but I can be more spontaneous and do it more often – immersing myself in how it feels in the moment. Notice what calls to you to do it differently. And immerse yourself in the moment.
Let your spiritual practice be one improvisation after another. What do you feel like doing? Do that, how did it feel? Do more. Do something else. Explore the new and expand the comfortable.
Change the location. I found a different location to do my Qigong and it changed how I feel about doing it. Go out in nature for your spiritual practice. Change chairs. I have one chair facing toward the window that I sit in each day to greet the day or play the sun down, or watch the storm, or simply be with the day. You may find different times to do to different aspects of your spiritual practice. Let your body tell you. Let your inner voice tell you. Experiment for a while and let your flexible and creative new spiritual practice unfold.

===OUR EVOLVING FUTURE===
Stay Open
Think what that will eliminate – no gas stations, no gas production, no fossil fuel consumption or pollution. And that’s just one major change from one idea. We can print 3-D houses in two weeks. Artificial Intelligence takes over mundane jobs and makes complex jobs easy.
We have to stay flexible. We have to stay open to change. We get to rethink everything we do. What an opportunity and challenge. Stay flexible and open to change and new and unexpected opportunities!
What Does It Take to Change Your Mind?
I watch the world rearrange itself on a dramatic scale. I watch new decisions being made and wonder at the reasoning behind many of them. I watch new discoveries unfold that will change our world. And I begin to think about what it will take to change my mind about anything.
Changing your perspective, changing your mind begins with your focus. What is important to you at this point in your life? As the opportunities unfold, so do the insights. And our position changes.
We have to consider our options. If a person is against taking the Covid virus vaccinations, what does it take for them to change their mind? They have to look closely at the source of their core beliefs. And that’s not always easy to do. Our beliefs can be very sneaky and creep up on us without even knowing that they are anchoring themselves in our lives. We establish our beliefs based on what our parents taught us and what we learn as we respond or react to our life journey. Our experience contributes to our beliefs.
What does it take to change your mind? I think we should be in a state of constant questioning. Because the world is changing rapidly. Opportunities are unfolding we never even dreamed of. We need to keep exploring and considering and trying things on for size. We need to be aware of the myriad of inventions and discoveries that make some of our choices obsolete and open ourselves to paths we never dreamed of before.
Dido you get up every day and ask what direction you are supposed to go in that day? Each day is an opportunity to look closely at what has evolved overnight. What changes have come about in your experience, your thinking, the opportunities that have presented themselves, and how that changes or should change your beliefs and your responses. Stay fluid. Keep observant. And stay open to change.
===CARA’S CORNER===
Be Willing to Change
My recent big lesson is to be willing to change. That involves a reality check, it involves exploring new options, and it definitely asks you to make new decisions.
Take a reality check. I have spent a lot of money on my health and now have to ease up on other spending. My body is shifting for the better but it offers me both new challenges and new choices. I have to actively explore new actions that are now open to me that will support and advance this new strength and flexibility. Shift your gaze. Change your options.
