The Gaia Gateway and Your Soul Star

June 11, 2020 By Cara Lumen

The Gaia Gateway and Your Soul Star

An Exploration of the Unseen World

955 of the world is Unseen.  We have much to learn when we go exploring there. It is important to begin our inner explorations by creating protection.  The first step is to create a Transformative Shield of Protection. The second step is to connect with the primal power of the earth through the Gaia Gateway and the all-encompassing power of the Universe through your Soul Star.  Then you open your heart to bring those combined energies into your being to guide and support your inner work.

Cara Lumen, spiritual philosopher and founder of the Deeper Song Community is a cosmic explorer who consciously travels into the unseen world to serve as a bridge to help us expand our relationship with the spiritual world. She shares what she learns and guides us to the next level so we can sing a deeper song.

In this episode, we explore
The Gaia Gateway and Your Soul Star.

THE GAIA GATEWAY AND YOUR SOUL STAR

An Exploration of the Unseen World

When you explore the Unseen World, whether by shamanic journeying or other forms of mediation, you want to set up protection  The Transformative Shield, the Gaia Gateway and You Sold Star strengthen your connection to your Guardian Spirits who then lead you safely into your Inner World exploration.

In the previous episode, I taught you how to create a Transformation Shield that transforms and transmutes energy both with it and without – back toward you to transform your fears and anger and outward to transform and repurpose any negative energy that comes your way. It is an important first step to any meditative work.

In this episode, I want to add two powerful steps to this opening preparation- a conscious connection with the Gaia Gateway and the Soul Star.  Acknowledging them, drawing power from them, expands and deepens your connection with the Unseen World

I’m also going to teach you the sound of the Heart Chakra so that you can begin your shamanic journey, your meditation, your visioning, your inner work with protection and powerful intention.

Welcome to Reflections of a Deeper Song.  I’m Cara Lumen, Spiritual Philosopher and Founder of the Deeper Song Community and I help Transformational Leaders deepen our relationship with the Unseen World and expand our role in the New Consciousness. Thank you for being a part of this journey.

This is episode  49 The Gaia Gateway and the Soul Star.

I was getting ready to host a zoom call with a group of my online friends that I call the Rainbow Weavers.  My friend, Christina,  who travels in the Unseen World a LOT more than I do insisted that I set up protection, connect with Gaia, connect with the Heavens and open my heart in order to mindfully and responsibly begin our time together on the call.  I have experienced several versions of setting up protection in guided meditations led by others, but I had not had the occasion to create my own opening.  I received the concept of the  Transformative Shield in a Shamanic journey.  I needed to add these other three elements into my Sacred Opening of our Circle.

The elements we need to add to the beginning of our inner world are

– connection with The Gaia Gateway,

– connection with Our Soul Star and

– using a mantra to create a Heart Opening.

The first step  is to set up the Transformative Shield, a sphere of protective energy around yourself. If you are alone, do it for yourself.  If you are in a group, first teach each person to set u a transformative shield to protect themselves, then put the Transformation shield around the group as a whole.  Remember, the Transformative Shield transforms and repurposes energy back to you on the inside of the shield shield and out to anything in the Unseen World that comes your way.

Once we have set up our protection,  we begin to connect with the Unseen World. We begin with the Gaia, the earth, our planetary home. The Gaia Gateway lies beneath our feet.  It is our grounding here in our planetary persona of our personalized self- expression. We make this connection with the intention that all we do and say is and will support our highest unfolding purpose.

We begin our centering process, by feeling our energy reach out though our feet to move deep within the earth, to the core of molten energy of Gaia the soul of the earth.  Feel her molten power rise up within and through you, strengthening you, connecting you with the unfolding cycles of nature, making your physical plane body disappear into the rising energy that fills you.

Notice how that feels. How grounded, how protected  you feel.

Sit in the fullness of that moment.  Feel the healing take place on all levels, your emotions, your physical body, your mind.  Fill yourself with the healing power of Gaia. Allow the energy from the Gaia Gateway to bring you a state of tranquility and centered stillness.

Only then do you move to confess with your Soul Star.

The Soul Star is your connection with your higher self.  It is a star just for you.  It brings you guidance from the Unseen World, the Great All-ness, the Nowhere that you came from.

You can picture it up in the galaxies but you bring it in though your 8th chakra which is 18 incites above your head.

The Soul Star is Infinite Energy.  It is an opening for the Highest Vibration to enter to balance and guide you on your journey.

As you connect with your Sou Star, feel this Vibration of Oneness flow through your body and fill it with love.  Feel it mix with the power of the vibration of Gaia. Healing and wholing and raising your vibration unit you are tingling all over.

It is from that place of centered connexion above and below that you open your heart. You connect the three worlds, lower, upper, and middle within you.

To make this connection we use a mantra.  A mantra is a sacred song.  It is not to be translated, its power lies in its pure vibration. Just let the energy carry it. It heals us and helps us heal others.

The mantra we will use is  Hreem. It has creative power, it opens our hearts in connection. And it makes us receptive to Divine Wisdom. It is spelled H R I M and is pronounced ‘hreem‘ It holds creativity and healing powers. Speaking it has the power to awaken and purify your heart.

As you make the sound three times, feel it emirate from your heart chakra, first to Gaia below, then to you Soul Star above and then feel it connect all three worlds in your physical body.

Make the sound hreem three times and feel your heart vibration expand and extend out into the world

–   Hreem  Hreem  Hreem.

You are now ready to journey, to meditate, to visualize or to simply sit in sublime tranquility.

Be present, be aware, and with each breath bring in higher vibration and greater tranquility until you are walking the earth as a light being that touches and changes everything and every one.

The Transformational Shield, the Gaia Gateway, the Soul Star, and the chanting of a sacred mantra should be apart of your daily spiritual practice.

I recede the following message from my guides in the Unseen World on a shamanic journey: It is for both of us.

“In your meditation, in your work in your daily life, be present, be aware until you are walking the earth as a light being that touches and changes everything and everyone that it meets. You are a transformational Shield.  You have the ability to change what is within you into positive energy. You have the ability to transform any energy that comes to you and raise its vibration and its intention. See yourself as a walking catalyst for change.  A transformative Shield changing and raising the energy of everything you come in touch with.

Thank on that – and it will change how you walk the earth.

The Intentional OM Hum

June 12, 2019 By Cara Lumen

The Intentional OM Hum
An Inner-world Exploration

OM or AUM is a mantra (word of power) that is said to represent the seed sound of the universe and to represent all other sounds. When you combine the mantra OM with the extended vibration of a hum, you can learn to direct that vibration and let it linger and float off like a gentle wave to resonate and heal whatever it touches.

There are three sounds to the universal seed mantra OM.  A – U – M.  The word is linked to the sound of breath and is a subtle and high potency universal vibration which can be heard internally in the subtle planes as a deep sound.

Symbolically, OM represents the entire creation manifested in the three planes – the earth, the mid-region, and the heavens.

The Om hum

Combining the sound of OM with breath and intention is a powerful way to raise your own vibration.

Sit or lie down in a quiet place.  Begin to take long slow, mindful breaths.  On the exhale, vocalize A-U-M and let the sound of a hum flow out with a focused intention. Think of yourself as breathing out and sending forth a Divine Quality, the Universal Self, Space. Notice how this resonates throughout your body.

Since everything is vibration, the addition of a prolonged hum keeps the vibration moving outward.  Ah – U – Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

Work in cycles of seven.  Take a breath, and on the exhale tone the sound OM (A-U-M.)  At the M, let the sound turn into an audible hum and use your mind to direct that healing vibration wherever you wish it to go.

Intention is the navigator

Our intention is like focusing a lens.  Our intention is the director of everything we do.  You can begin with an intention to vibrate the healing Om hum through your whole body and when you get to the hum, allow that resonance to build and reverberate throughout your body.

If your intention is to heal another person or place, or animal or even the world, simply set the intention and feel the A-U-M gathering together your spiritual essence and radiating it out toward your intention.

Let the hum fade off into the universe.

Notice change

If you would like to see some recognizable, tangible evidence that this Intentional Om Hum made a difference, write down the situation and the date you begin to send it energy and periodically journal about the changes. Place Intentional OM- Hum into your daily spiritual practice.

Deeper Song Affirmation

I add an Intentional Om Hum to my spiritual practice.

Deeper Song Process

  • Set an intention to manifest change. In the beginning, make it something you will be able to notice.
  • Add an Intentional Om Hum to your daily spiritual practice.
  • Observe.  Journal.  Notice change.
  • Repeat

Allow Life to Be Meditation

October 18, 2016 By Cara Lumen

woods sun beams

We think of meditation as sitting alone in silence. What if we took that whole sense of being present into our entire day? What would that look like? Feel like?

Begin with a sense of your inner self

When you meditate, you can hear the inner voice of wisdom. When you pay attention to your intuition, to those small nudges and prods that show up in your life, you are listening to the voice within. Your inner voice.

When you embrace your own self-awareness, you understand what you offer and who you should offer it to. All of this awareness comes from being introspective. From meditation. From stillness.

Live at the center

Let the world whirl and swirl around you. Your place is at the center. That’s where it’s peaceful and still. That’s where the wisdom is.

When you become agitated, or frustrated or bewildered, go within. There’s clarity there. When you’re confused and uncertain, go within. There are answers there.

When you practice going within, it becomes easier to pause and listen to the still small voice within and absorb the wisdom that’s ever present.

Our lives reflect what is inside

The more you access calm and serenity within, the more calmness and serenity will be present in your life. The more aware you’ll be of your gifts and talents, the easier it’ll be to find ways to express them. And the more loving you are in your heart, the more love surrounds you in the outer world.

Change who is within

Cultivate a practice of mindful awareness – of what’s going on inside and of what’s reflected outside. Cultivate stillness. Reside at the center of your being.

When you change what is within, you change what is without.

Allow life to be a meditation.

Create a Sacred Moment Where All Things are Possible

July 1, 2010 By Cara Lumen

by Cara Lumen

magicianIt’s way too easy to stay busy and forget who we are and what we are here to do. We get caught up in deadlines and projects and family and forget to take that sacred pause, the moments in which we move within and connect with our wholeness and our oneness with all.

You have to make time for your inner work

Like anything else that is important, you need to set up specific times to contemplate. When I first learned Transcendental Meditation 40 years ago it was suggested we do it 20 minutes in the morning and 20 minutes when we came home from work to mark the change between work and an evening of relaxation. I even know of a married couple who do not speak to each other upon arriving home until each has gone to a quiet place to release their day and embrace their forthcoming time together. Pauses are good, whenever you take them.

You may walk daily and find that a time to contemplate. You may journal every day to record some introspective thoughts. I find journaling helps me sort out what I’m thinking and feeling. It may be as simple as blessing your office space as you sit down to begin your day, and offering that space gratitude for its gifts when you leave. It could be about blessing your food as you prepare it and as you eat it. It could be a gratitude journal that records your blessing.

Decide what form your sacred time is going to take and place it into your daily schedule.

It has to be quiet time

You need to spend enough time in this contemplative mood to let things percolate and rise to your conscious awareness. You need to breathe deeply and consciously relax your body with a mantra like AUM or just by watching your breath. You can consciously go through your body to relax it and talk to it to see what it needs from you. You may want music. You may not.

Create your sacred space

When you create a sacred space for yourself you establish your intention to take time for contemplation. As you use your sacred space the energy will begin to build around it. I do Falun Gong in the morning  which ends in meditation. I am surrounded by crystals and I have a small collection of hand holders that I choose from when I meditate. I have a Goddess piece of driftwood that is three feet tall that I’m going to take with me even to my smaller apartment. It helps me think of nature and of possibilities. It will be part of the focus for my meditation. But it could be a sacred space on a table, or the top of a bookshelf. Gather items that are meaningful to you – a feather, a shell, a rock, a photo. Perhaps use a chime to begin and end your meditation. Or light a candle. Give yourself some signal that you are devoting this period of time to inner reflection. You will quickly find your sacred space becomes an oasis of peace for you.

Still your mind

You don’t get to make lists while you meditate, you don’t get to plan projects or run assorted possible scenarios through your mind. You are to listen to your inner voice and it won’t be talking about the physical plane stuff. Let your mind transcend the limitations of what you know how to do here in the physical realm, and go exploring where all things are possible. All things. And then some….

Where will your sacred space be? When will you set aside time to be there? Today’s a good day to begin.
