Raise Your Vibration Through Visioning

April 17, 2019 By Cara Lumen

Raise Your Vibration Through Visioning
An Immer-World Exploration

“If we learn to sense everything from a higher vantage point or vibrational frequency, we may actually see the world as it really is, a construct of our minds and our collective dance. Nothing is what it seems.”  – Raja Choudhury

When we raise our vibration it affects our world.  How do we do that?  What do we need to do to raise our vibration? The ideas are pouring into my consciousnesses and showing up from many directions.

In my shamanic journeys, I ask for and continue to receive ideas for specific ways to raise my vibration.  I am adding a small ceremony/practice to my daily work that involves raising my vibration.

Raise your vibration through visualization

In a quiet place begin by being aware of your core. The core of you. The strength of you.  The inner world of you. In my practice, I begin there, in my essence.  I experience myself as a container filled with golden light that comes in my crown and slowly fills my body.  That is followed by rainbow light that moves through my body righting what is wrong, working to heal and restore and rebalance all of my body –  the corners, the crevices.  I give it time to do a thorough job of wholing.

Gradually I allow that pillar of light that is me, to expand until I become and have a feeling of being only pure vibration. Individual/ego“Me” disappears.  I experience myself as light.  I relax into the vibration, the feeling, the experience.  There may be an accompanying sound, there may not be.  In this journey of visualization, as I begin to expand my own vibration I become aware of other expanded vibrations, other light beings who are also expanding their vibrations. We nod in recognition and then join our vibrations together to become a larger vibrational energy.  This continues – coming up next to a vibration of wholeness, merging with it to increase our collective power.  Not absorbing, simply merging to become bigger and broader and more far-reaching.  Our strength grows, our reach expands.  I am still aware of my mind, but no longer sense my body.  We, the collective vibration of those who are aware and who have chosen to be a part of this vibratory expansion, fill the void.  We put our collective, expanded, positive vibration right into the earth, into nature, into all the inhabitants, into the core of the earth itself.  We, as this collective energy, wrap ourselves around the moon and the sun to absorb and share their gifts.  We, as light vibration, move within the core of the earth to heal and balance.  We touch all living things, insects, birds animals, people.

We begin to merge our thoughts. We spread our light like a calming ray into the harried thoughts of concerned and aware seekers.  They take a deep breath and see life a bit differently.  They recognize their own light and are enhanced.  They begin to explore their own vibration.

Breathe.  Breathe light, breath the vibration of wholeness. Fold your hands in the mudra prayer position or just put your index fingers together and blow light vibrational energy over the top out into others in the world, to those beings who are raising their vibration. Use your breath like a tuning fork. Others hear, are drawn to it, and begin to resonate.

Begin your daily ceremony with visualizations of our collective vibration and see where it takes you.

The Power of Your Imagination

December 12, 2018 By Cara Lumen

The Power of Your Imagination
An Inner World Exploration

Where do ideas come from?  They show up as wisps of an idea or a picture floating around in our imagination, or a single word that catches our attention. We seem to have the ability to capture them and organize them into a form of communication.

As I was listening to some classical music I wondered how a person can hear all those different parts played by all those different instruments and write them down so someone else can hear them and understand them and perform them? Many composers of classical music don’t always even get to hear their work performed. They just write from their intuition and know what it sounds like.

Truly amazing.

What are you doing with your imagination?

I’m sitting here writing because I just listened to some classical music and I marveled, as I often do, at how the composer knew how to put all those parts together.  So I write to figure out how that might happen.

That’s where ideas come from, wisps in our imagination.  I had an experience, it sparked a question, and that question becomes a commentary or an insight or something for us to think about.

Ideas are like wisps of light

I see myself as surrounded by wisps of light, each one an idea for me to consider, to pluck from the air, to explore and develop and possibly share.  Not all are mine to do, but they’re certainly mine to explore if I’m drawn to them.

I see ideas as those sudden “a-ha’s” that people get that say, “Let’s do it this way”, and the idea or insight makes them move off in an entirely unexplored direction.

How do you capture a wisp?

To capture these wisps, you must pay attention.  Then you figure out what you need to do in order to capture them, work with them, adjust them, or combine them.  You take a wisp of an idea and explore its possibilities.

When an idea that appeals to me floats by, I grab it and rush to my computer to figure out what it means to me, here and now, as a human and as a spiritual being.  I write in order to sort it out for myself.  Sometimes what I write is shared with others, sometimes it’s merely foundational exploration I later expand upon.

Stop to listen

If you don’t listen, you won’t hear.  If you don’t look, you won’t see.  Do you take time to observe? Do you take time to consider?  What do you do with what you discover?  Do you try it on in your own life?  Or do you brush it aside and keep going in the direction you were already headed?

Your imagination creates your world

Our thoughts create our reality. We have great control over our thoughts.  Thus we have great control over our life experience.

Someone says something, and how you interpret that in your imagination influences how you respond.  You are moving along steadily in one direction when your imagination flies in and says, “Look at the great possibilities over here.”  The choice you make in that moment, to hear or not hear, to explore or not explore, shapes your life experience.  For better or worse.

Invite your imagination to step forward

The more you practice listening to your imagination, the more you’ll hear, and the more accurate will be your interpretation.  I’m sitting here ready to write this next sentence waiting for my imagination to make a suggestion for me to consider.  There have been several thoughts and I get to choose.

What I choose determines what you read next, what you understand, what insights you’re given that are influential in how you change your life.

All because I sit here and wait. And see what thoughts show up, and then choose.

Give your imagination time and space

My imagination usually interrupts me with a loud voice, nearly shouting the idea at me.  Sometimes it lets the idea simmer with small gentle nudges until the idea becomes clear.  And sometimes it outlines a series of steps that enable me to get the full picture.  Give your imagination space and time to express itself.

Then pay attention.  And explore what you’re offered.

Imagination is a powerful gift and a great guide.

Where Are You Aiming?

June 19, 2018 By Cara Lumen

Where Are You Aiming?

The greater danger for most of us is not that our aim is too high and we miss it, but that it is too low and we reach it! – Michelangelo

What do you expect from yourself?  What do you believe you deserve?  What do you believe can happen?  Look where your sights are aimed and make certain it’s high enough to take you where you want to go.

If you’re aiming too low, raise your sights.  What comes up?  Fear? Excitement? Eagerness?  You may be a person who only wants to raise her sights a bit at a time.  That’s OK.  Just consistently keep aiming higher.

If you are called to really raise your sights, then simply take aim and let fly. The universe will support you in your flight.

Where Do You Plant Your Stake?

February 14, 2017 By Cara Lumen

plant flag on mooon

When you plant your stake in the ground, the universe responds. Where are you planting your stake?

A new stake is a signal that attracts

I took two courses that inspired me to create a new stake to plant. One took me into deeper inner work; the other showed me how to take this inner work out into the world to make a difference. I planted my stake. I want to make a conscious effort to heal and balance the earth.

The stake I planted was like an antenna

As ideas began to come to me, some vibrated more than others. Some I adapted. Some I acted upon. Others I ignored. I absorbed and adjusted and made my choices.

The realignment began to bubble outward. Since I’m a writer, I began to write. I wrote articles on activating a Tree Messenger and becoming an Armchair Activist.

When I was searching for how to help heal the world, I listened to a webinar from which I understood that we can heal our rifts when we look for what we have in common. I began to write about that.

Expand your territory

Now my mission is larger. It moved beyond me and my work. I am a messenger of sorts, an interpreter of ideas. An “idea magnet” who thinks up ways to apply what I learn. Although my path is not formed or firm, I stay open and circumstances show up to be explored. One seed grows many varieties and can adapt to many fields. I write. I share what I write. And as , the seed grows and grows.

Where have you planted your stake?

What are you invested in? What calls to you? What gifts are needed? Where do you want to do your work?

For several years my work has been about spiritual exploration on the inner plane. My inner plane, in particular. Suddenly my work has turned global. In simply responding to my own inner work, I’m using my gifts to inspire and motivate and suggest options to others.

My stake is still planted in spiritual expansion, but the garden has gotten bigger.

Look at what you’re invested in. Getting a promotion? Finishing school? Finding a soulmate?

Think bigger. Mark off a larger territory. You are needed!

I’m becoming more invested in harvesting my wisdom and understanding into signposts and maps for others who might choose to follow this way. And right now, my stake is in exploring ways to heal our planet and sharing what I find.

Is your stake planted in the right place

How About a Woman’s Political Party? The Party of Common Ground!

January 23, 2017 By Cara Lumen

woman and flag

What would a Woman’s Political Party look like? It would focus on nurturing. It would focus on empathy and inclusion. It would focus on peaceful co-existing and cooperation. What would a world look like in which there were conversations rather than wars in order to negotiate a peaceful solution? What if there were no egos struggling for power. What if?

I’d vote for that.

It’s not about the peace-seeking flower power of the 60’s. It’s not about the woman’s liberation movement of the 60’s and 70’s. It’s about the women we have become. The intelligent, wise, inclusive, empathetic feminine nature that cares for others, that safeguards others, that nurtures and supports.

But there’s another side to the feminine; there’s the Rainbow feminine, the one who is creative and pro-active, who leads and creates and motivates and inspires and, again, is inclusive.

What if our women took over our government? Became our duly elected leaders? What would that world look like? No Republicans and Democrats, only a party of wholeness, of statesmanship, of inclusion. There would not be two sides, we would seek to stand on common ground.

It’s exciting to consider.

The Party of Common Ground

What would it look like if there were no longer different sides of the aisle? What if a group of elected people got together and simply said, who is drawn to caring for the environment — go form a committee and figure out a solution and present it to us all. We will decide on action by building on our common ground.

What if the people who cared about the well-being of children gathered together to figure out common ground and common steps? What if we had a collection of women government officials who actually listened — not to the political “sides,” but to the problem and searched for a common solution?

What if the sole purpose of the elected representatives was to find common ground and then build from there? Of course that would mean compromise, but it would also mean collective action.

It would mean listening with our heart to the needs of the other person.

It would mean being flexible and open-minded.

It would mean being willing to change.

It would mean working with our intelligence to find a creative, innovative solution that addresses the constant changes on our planet home.

It would mean making space in our hearts for the phenomenal and beautiful diversity that is our nation.

It would mean having to listen, accept our differences, and work for the highest good of all.

Women have the power to elect our leaders

We are a majority here. But we would have to vote as one.

It doesn’t mean that men would not participate, they would, but the main responsibility rests with each of us, with our participation in our local government and our state governments and our federal government. This Party of Common Ground can be a unifier, an eraser of the divides. If we see ourselves as one party, we can work within that party for common ground, for universally positive answers.

What if the Women’s Party of Common Ground was world wide?

What if we collectively created a model of alignment that could be extended to the rest of the world? What if an international group of women came together and found common causes and agreement and took those ideas back to their country. This becomes a World Party. A Planetary Party.

Wow!

We have to move from “me” to “we.”

Where to start — our common concerns

Equality. Respect. Inclusion. Safety. Being able to support ourselves. Worker’s rights, reproductive rights, environmental justice, immigrant rights, sexual preference rights and ending violence against women. Safety for our children. Education for our children. Jobs and training for people of all skill levels and ages. It’s a diverse group of people with diverse needs. It’s a tall order. We must find the common ground and begin there.

What to include — our differences

When we look at an opposite view as an opportunity to learn, it changes how we see it. And, most importantly, in the Party of Common Ground we must agree to disagree and find the compromises necessary to move forward.

We MUST educate ourselves. We MUST examine our beliefs and question them. We MUST understand the other person’s point of view. We must be flexible. And we must be willing to CHANGE. This is not about “my way”, it’s about “our way.”

We must now take responsibility and lead.

How do we start a global political party that has begun with the world-wide marches?
