An Exploration of the Unseen World
As a Reiki Master Teacher, I know how to direct energy outside of time and space. We use symbols.
But why do I need symbols? Those are human tools. Energy is everywhere. Energy is all there is. We just want to figure out how to focus and direct energy to expand and deepen our insights and awareness.
We do it through our intention.
We have much more power than we realize. There is power in our words, there is power in our thoughts, there is power in our actions. We can change the trajectory of our life by working outside the limitation of time and space.

In this episode we’re going to explore How to Direct Energy Outside of Time and Space
I need to feel empowered. I need to feel I can contribute to the calming of the chaos of the world. I don’t mean to keep bringing up my age but at 87 my form of activism needs to be a bit subtle. Powerful, of course, but distributed in a more serene manner. So I work on the inner plane.
There is nothing between me and all Energy. Everything is energy. I am, you are, we are, it is, they are. All one energy. So it’s easy to embrace the concept of sending energy outside of this human restrictive concept we call time, this restriction we call space.
We have immediate access to the Unseen World and its gifs and guidance.
First you see the need,
Then you set the intention
Then you personalize your way of sending energy outside of time and space.
Let’s start with the belief that this is possible. I have dry macular degeneration which means there is gradual cloudiness building up at the back of my eyes. Western medicine says it can’t be healed. What they are actually saying is they don’t know HOW to heal it. Be careful of the beliefs that can limit your self-healing and your belief in your own power.
So I have gone through the human process – why me, I’m a writer, I need my eyes to do my work.
But the bottom line is that I have to find a way to BELIEVE that my eyes can be healed.
I believe they can be healed. I just don’t know how yet.
I have some work to do. I have to change my own belief system I have to believe it is possible and I have to do some energy work.
Once you identify what you want to change, you set about change it. Now here’s the caveat. You send energy for the highest good, the best outcome, and leave it to the Unseen World to do what is needed.
I don’t know what that is regarding my eyes. But I can begin by working on myself.
Begin by releasing the blockage you have consciously or unconsciously created.
Whether you can identify the cause of what is manifesting or not, you want to metaphorically and metaphysically release the blockage. Dissolve it Eliminate it. That alone will create change.
You don’t need to know where that blockage is, or the cause of what is manifesting in your life. You don’t need to know if it is from your ancient lineage or if it is a part of what you agreed to do during this lifetime. Your intention is to release it.
In shamanism, there is a process called cord-cutting. It is a metaphorical releasing of known and unknown cords that are holding us back or keeping us from rising higher.
I have had shamanic sessions in which there was a lot cord-cutting – cutting the energy brought forth from past lives, past experiences. I don’t need to know what the cords stand for, I just know that the Shamanic practitioner saw them and cut them. And I got better.
We’re talking metaphors here, human-based metaphors for releasing energy or clearing energy, for changing the manifestation of energy in our human form.
I believe my words create my reality so I am very careful about what I think and the words I speak – they must be positive, affirmative so that what I create is what I want.
The first step in directing energy outside of time and space is to set an intention
What we focus on we get. What we believe will happen happens. So the very first step in sending energy outside of time and space is to set an intention. Not for a specific outcome, but for wholeness and balance or even guidance.
Think about a time you set an intention and it happened. I have an odd share around setting an intention and having it manifest. In college, there was a cute blond boy I wanted to date. I set that intuition and it happened. The bummer part was that he was cute but not very interesting…
Be purposeful and specific with your intentions…
We get hints from the Universe about the steps we are to take. When we act, when we follow that guidance from the unseen world, interesting opportunities begin to manifest – more doors open or unexpected ideas show up that take us to levels we had not even dreamed of.
Focus on change. Choose change, act as if that change has already occurred, and watch it happen.
You send energy to raise the vibration, to bring the object of your focus to wholeness – or raise it to be closer to wholeness than it was. You do not try to manipulate or even manifest a specific outcome You send in the vibration of wholeness and let the situation balance out in the most wholistic manner for the greater good of all.
After you set your intention you personalize your way of sending energy outside of time and space.
You can send whoiling energy to the present
I remember a time during my Reiki training when I had a test. I had gone to great pains to send positive energy ahead to that test experience. Then the test got moved up in time. I happen to mention to a fellow student that I had sent the energy for later that day and she said, “Don’t worry the energy will find you.”
There is no time or space in the world of Energy. There simply is. All energy is s always available in the present moment
Yes, send intentional energy ahead to a surgery or birth or a situation or….whatever… even if you don’t know where or when it will take place, – the energy will be there because there is no time or space in the Unseen World.
That means you can also send energy to Past
Sending wholing energy to the past is an interesting idea. It opens up all manner of possibilities. I remember teaching an online class in which there was a five-minute segment on forgiveness mixed in with an hour of other ideas. But that 5 minutes on forgiveness resonated with one of the students and the next week in class she shared that she had contacted her father whom she had not spoken to in 15 years and they had even made arrangements to meet.
When the time is right the answer will appear. And you just may be the one to provide it.
Forgiveness is probably one of the more impactful things you do to change the present. You can send energy back in the past to help heal the present. I sometimes had a hard time with my other – she was very critical of some of the choices I made as an adult. I have a theory about that – I did things she would have liked to do that her generation was not taught to do or allowed to do. But I also realized that in that same desire to break out of the stenotype of her time, she gave me some very awesome opportunities.
We all try. Sometimes it is more impactful in ways we did not expect. Perhaps it is not so much forgiveness that is called for, but understanding.
I made some choices that were very unusual and slightly dramatic in my 40’s and I know they definitely impacted lives ower that mine in terms of what and who I left behind and what and who I tried to impact. I also know it was the best decision I made in my life and is the reason I am who I am today and as deeply in service as I am.
But I can send energy back to that time to heal and balance and release, but I can’t change it. I can only trust that intentional energy sent to the past will heal the wounds I may have caused by the choices I made, or the experiences that manifested because of my actions, Lives were changed – including mine. And I would not change that choice one bit.
Send energy to the Future to unblock the way forward or even affect the outcome.
There is an understanding that timelines are parallel so we can easily send energy to the future. I sent energy ahead to the future me ten years from now and when we connected, she was doing jumping jacks! Now I’m 87 and have not done jumping jacks for a very long time so what’s going on ten years from now!!! But hey, I have a relationship started with my future self. And jumping jacks as a metaphor for what is possible.
You can send energy ahead to something you are going to experience in the future – a surgery, a test, a job interview. It’s as simple as sending forth positive vibrational energy – visualizing the situation surrounded by positive energy. There’s no ready you can’t put up a Transformative Shield of Protection if that seems appropriate.
In New work City in the 60’s I remember coming out of an EST seminar at 1:30 in the morning. There were no cabs so I decided to walk the 12 blocks to my apartment. I started out and then I realized that it was a really dumb idea – to be walking home alone in the middle of the night in NYC even if it was the Upper West Side. But I started sending energy ahead – I saw myself walking through a protective tunnel of light. I saw only one other person on the street and he was walking on the other side of the street and going as fast as I was.
I have been known to prepare to take a road trip and set up a safe tunnel of light for me to drive through all the way. Or fly through.
Personalize your way of sending energy outside of time and space.
Your intention is the cornerstone of directing energy outside of time and space. But you can make it more tangible for yourself in many ways. If I see some disturbing news on television I hold my palm toward the set and set an intentionally send whiling energy to the highest good for all concerned.
If I see a person in distress, I may put my hand on my heart thought my intentions, and send him or her heart energy.
I can create an intention that my focused look carries with it positive energy.
Get creative. Know you have the power to send energy outside of time and space and get to work!
You can use the Law of Correspondence to focus your intention.
The Law of Correspondence says you can have one thing represent another. For instance, if I want to send restorative energy to my eyes, I can put my hands to my face. Or, I can choose an object to represent my eyes and simply hold that and direct my intentions there. I can choose to use whatever calls to me to apply the Law of Correspondence. It could be a round rubber ball, it could be a piece of string, it could be a place on my ow knee that I hold to represent my eyes. It can be a crystal. You choose. I have a fabric hug-a-planet that I can cradle or put my hands on a particular country to send energy.
If I were in a difficult conversational exchange with someone, I could create a subtle gesture of correspondence, like wrapping my finger around my thumb to send positive, uplifting energy to the situation. Or I could just sit and send the energy with my intention.
Use your intuition and creativity to direct energy outside of time and space.
Be aware that it can be done.

Do not direct the outcome
When you send energy ahead you send to the highest good of all. There is a MUCH greater plan than we can even begin to comprehend, so a situation here on earth may seem like it is going the wrong direction, but we, here in our limited body expression have no idea what that grander expression is going to be or is mean to be.
Send e to the highest good. The most positive outcome. And trust.
First, know that you can direct energy outside of time and space. Then do it – for the highest good of all.
Then trust.
Repeat as needed.
Think on that and see where it leads you.
