The Power of Being in Intentional Space
An Inner-world Exploration
Our lives will change dramatically when we set out to live in intentional space.
What does that mean? What does that look like? How do we do that?
Being in intentional space means we treat each moment of our life as sacred
That means we are mindful of our intention, mindful of our words and actions, mindful of our presence and mindful of the vibration of all things around us. We listen and feel and experience.
To create intentional space, begin with an intention
All inner work must begin with an intention. Intention focuses the vibration and influences the outcome.
Begin your day with an intention to walk through the day in expanded awareness, sensitive feeling, eager expectation, and a willingness to participate with ever-increasing openness to what is offered.
Now THAT will certainly change how your day unfolds.
You may set your intention for clarity, or peace, or expanded awareness. To allow for the creativity inherent in vibrational healing, focus your intuition on an over-arching experience rather than a specific outcome and simply let the outcome unfold in your ever-expanding awareness.
Bring yourself to a deeper place of harmonious vibration
Everything is one energy. When you allow yourself to feel and be that all-inclusive energy, there’s a deep feeling of harmony and peaceful coexistence. Go there. Be there. Immerse yourself in how that feels and set an intention to carry that connection with you throughout your day.
You can change the direction of the flow by your actions
So here you are, flowing peacefully through your day when…bang!…something negative shows up. It jars you. It probably hurts a bit. It breaks through your contented flow of serenity.
Let it go.
Let the negative energy flow past you. Deflect it with your intention.
Then intentionally move back into the sacred space, your place of inner harmony, or stillness, or feeling our collective oneness.
Go within and reset your intentions for peaceful, sacred awareness.
Your experience will immediately change, your feelings will soften and you will recover your inner serenity with relative ease.
Make a choice to have an intentional impact
When you move from the physical plane chaos into the inner harmony of stillness and serenity, this creates a steady flow of peaceful energy radiating into the world around you. It’s a higher vibration, a more powerful vibration, and it will transform the negative energy around you.
Your inner peace is impactful to everything around you. Your serenity is comforting. Suddenly the world around you becomes calm and centered and once again attuned to the vibration you’re emanating.
Set intentions for each day
It may take some practice to stay in a state of intentional living all day. But the very fact that you’ve chosen that intention raises the vibration of the energy you draw to you.
When I set my intention to move mindfully through my day, and I suddenly find myself bombarded by negativity, I simply stop and reaffirm that my intention is to be mindful and present and to keep my vibration raised. And bingo, there I am, reveling in mindfulness with a raised vibration back in place. Intentions have great power and they can help you get back on track.
Live in intentional space all day
Every moment is sacred. We are moving through sacred space all the time – we just need to be aware of it. That can be as simple as remembering that everything is one sacred energy.
Savor what shows up
Whatever vibrational energy shows up, acknowledge it, offer it gratitude, decide what you want to do with it – absorb it or deflect it away.
When my cat comes to sit beside me, I take time to feel the softness of his fur, tune into this feeling, see if I can discern why he came to sit beside me and what we might share in this time together. I mindfully take the step of stopping what I’m doing to tune in and listen and experience the energy exchanges that are being offered.
Become a master weaver. Weave together the sacred and the mundane
When something you perceive as negative shows up, wrap it in sacredness. Turn that perceived negativity into a mindful intention. Shape it, give it light and send it back into your vibrational field.
Elevate how you perceive an occasion
Look at each experience as a gift in disguise, a nudge to modify your direction or explore a new path. It’s there to help you learn. It may be there for you to help change its energy from negative to positive. It may be there as a reflection of how you are unconsciously viewing it. There’s a gift and an opportunity in everything that shows up.
Intentionally live an intentional life
We have the power to change the way our lives go, the way our days unfold.
Ask yourself: “How can I raise the vibration of this experience by elevating my own awareness?”
You participate in creating the experience around you.

- When you waken, pause to set an intention for your day. Not what to accomplish but the intuition of the vibrational energy you will live in all day.
- Stay mindfully in that space as much as possible. When you are pulled out, reaffirm your intention and move back into the positive vibrational space you’ve created for yourself.
- Notice how your choice to return to mindfulness affects those around you. Just notice. And be amazed.
- Set an intention for your day and step into it.
