What Lead Energy Are You Holding?
Insights From A Deeper Song
Ashe
(“Ah-Shay”)
The Creative in me honors the Creative in you!
One of the most powerful ways we can help change the world around us is to simply hold space. How we hold that space is what will affect the results that manifest. We need to create space for quiet, internal awareness so our Lead Energy is positive and compelling. Did you know that when you send love to your immune system the cells respond? That’s very powerful to know. What happens when we send love to our planet?
At any given moment ask “What is my Lead Energy?” If it is not as positive and inclusive as you would like, change it.
I had not thought about my Lead Energy until I heard Daisy Lee talk about it on the Qi Gong Summit. What energy is expressing itself in me right now? What energy is leading me forward? Anxiety or compassion and love? I have choice in each moment but first I have to identify my Lead Energy and then see how or if or how I want to change it.
That’s a hugely important question to ask as you move through your day. What energy am I leading with right now? If you don’t like the answer change it.
Pause and experience your energy right now. What are you focusing on? What are you concerned about? Are you angry or sad or serenely balanced? Are you tense or released? Centered or unfocused? Develop tools to return yourself to the center like breathing in serene energy and on the exhale, releasing the energy you no longer want to maintain. Breath is a cornerstone of the Qi Gong work. There are many hand moments in Qi Gong that are gently gathering the support of the earth into your body, then reaching to the stars to bring in that wisdom and guidance. You can do that with just your breath too.
Together, we create a group chi field that has a particular resonance that is a result of our individual intentional choices of our Lead Energy.
Through intent and focus, merge your centered, focused Lead Energy into the Group Chi Energy field. That Group Chi Field expresses outward into the world. It expands as our conscious intentions become focused in it.
First, understand yourself. Learn to become aware of your Lead Energy in different situations. Change your lead energy with focused intention and you will change the impact you have on the world. As you increase your personal positive Chi energy, it merges with the global world energy and lifts the collective.
Share your authentic, vital essence. People look at how you share, what you share, and how you embody your beliefs. When you come from a place of inclusiveness and integrity, it attracts those you are meant to serve and reminds them of those qualities within themselves. Our centered existence is a powerful form of activism.
Activism thorough Being has great power. There is stability in maintaining the peace of mind and peace of heart to hold space for others. It takes courage to be a centered, loving energy among the chaos. We lead by example. Others see our serene stillness and respond by stilling and centering themselves.
When we maintain centered stillness, we become a stable lead energy to the world around us. Our Lead Energy continues personal alignment and inclusive compassion. It becomes a beacon of light, a role model for how things can be. We truly become a beacon of peaceful coexistence.
We each manage our own energy. What ripples out, what particular stone we choose to drop into the quiet pond to become the lead energy comes from our choice in every moment. Stay conscious. Be aware. Chose wisely.
I like the idea of being a stone dropped into a quiet pond to see my energies of centered stillness move gently out into the world.
What lead energy are you maintaining?

How to Cultivate Deep Listening
An Exploration of the Unseen World
You have access to great wisdom when you cultivate deep listening. It begins with your intuition, your hunches, your nudges, and moves into the deep listening of your inner voice and your imagination.
It’s a journey of learning to trust. It’s a skill of learning to interpret. And it is the open portal to the Unseen World.
Cara Lumen, spiritual philosopher and Founder of the Deeper Song Community is a cosmic explorer who consciously travels into the unseen world to serve as a bridge to help us expand our relationship with the spiritual world. She shares what she learns and guides us to the next level so we can sing a deeper song.

Inner Work
BREATH AND THE SPIRITUAL WORLD
When you breathe you move into the spiritual world.
There was much emphasis on breathing in the Qi Gong Summit. It is simple to use and it is very, very powerful.
We use breath for clearing. We use breath for connection. We use breath for self-healing. We use breathe to live!
Close tour eyes and energetically connect with the center of the earth, draw in that life force, that energy of nature, and bring it up through your body to your heart. Then reach up to your Soul Star and pull down wisdom and guidance and love into your heart. Sit with that awareness of wisdom and support. Sit there and radiate out your serenity.
Our breath connects us with our spiritual world. Pause often and reach out.

Outer Work
WHERE IS YOUR NEXT PLACE OF SERVICE?
Those of us who are retired, or about to be, have a whole new world opening up to us. In business, we look for who we want to serve. I’m suggesting that in retirement we look for what we want to learn. And go do that.
Don’t look at it as a hobby. Look at it as a calling, something you are to learn and share with others.
The choice to follow what you want to learn is invigorating, stimulating, expanding, and frees you to follow whatever path calls to you. When you turn and share your discoveries with others, it is exciting and rewarding. You are continually deepening your contribution to the world as you are expanding your own gifts.
You have 30 years in which to explore, to learn what calls to you, and share it in many ways. Put those years to strong productive use creating work you can share that will change the lives of others.
Now THAT’S retirement!

OUR EVOLVING FUTURE
It is time for us to weave a new dream for the earth. Our thoughts create our reality so let’s get busy.
This is not about dreaming things back the way they were. There are a lot of signs that were not working so well. Turn away from the past and start weaving our future by noticing what is new, like solar cars, and 3-D houses printed in two weeks, and plastic roads and solar panels in the driveway that provide energy for the whole house, or the fact the solar panels can now be installed in apartment windows to provide energy. Those are major game changers we need to incorporate into our vision of the future.
The old ways are over. We are to leave them behind and turn toward the future. In doing so we must have our values firmly in place – compassion, inclusion, the well-being of all, always choosing for the highest good for all. It is a change in our awareness, in our focus, in our thinking.
Monitor your thoughts. Our thoughts create our reality so examine what you think is possible and rid yourself of limitations of what you used to believe.
Get creative in your dreaming for the New Consciousness that is forming. Open yourself to amazing possibilities. And leave the old world behind. We are dreaming a new one into being!!!

CARA’S CORNER
Find Your Flow
My friend was trying to get herself organized and she had blocked off segments of time for specific actions. I told her I pretty much go with the flow. I honor my natural rhythm. What is your natural rhythm? Have you stopped to find out?
My creative time is my most precious so it always has priority whenever it shows up in m day.
However, I want to add more Qi Gong in my life so I have begun doing a Chi Gong move each time I get up from my desk. Rather than setting aside a specific time in which to do a specific series of moments, I sprinkle Qi Gong throughout my day. I get in a lot of sprinkles. I do Qi Gong When I leave my desk before I retune to my desk when I change tasks throughout the day. Qi Gong is a serene, centering, contemplative rhythm that is changing my experience of my day.
Do specific work when your energy calls for it. I am most creative in the morning so whenever I get to my desk, that becomes about 90 minutes of making stuff up. I love that part. I eat and have tea at 11 while watching the View. I take a shamanic journey at 12:30. My afternoon work is about complexing something. I am searching for the time I am willing to cook in mid-afternoon.
Each day I only commit to one work task and one home care task. That doesn’t mean that’s all l do, it means that’s all l have on my to-do list. It could be to record two podcasts and take out the trash. The rest of my day unfolds organically but that’s all I have on my list to do. That allows me to not feel overwhelmed. I do the tasks I have chosen to do according to my natural energy flows.
It also helps when I focus on one type of action a day – a focus on recording, a focus on editing, a focus on writing. I work in pairs on my podcast since they are short so I’m always ahead of my schedule.
Be flexible and responsive to your energy and/or inner nudges. Leave space to resend to sudden bursts of inspiration. When you are responsive to your moods and stay flexible in your schedule it leaves room for you to deep dive into anything that calls to you. I may take a shamanic journey and get some deep idea I want to share and turn right then and write a podcast draft. I often get a phrase that interests me and I go off to explore in writing. I can do that because my time is flexible and I am responsive to my inner voice.
Notice your energy flow. When do you want to be active? What do you want in your day? When do you need to rev up your energy? What do you want to make more room to do? Having a short to-do list allows me creative flexibility in what I do and when I do it.
Being organising your time by noticing your energy levels. Play with that until you find what suits you and your energy flow. Keep your schedule flexible!

A DEEPER SONG
“Work is love made visible. And if you cannot work with love but only with distaste, it is better that you should leave your work and sit at the gate of the temple and take alms of those who work with joy.” – Kahlil Gibran.
Keep singing a deeper song.
Namaste,
Cara
